Honestly, this looks the business and was exactly what I was looking for but fell short of my expectations.
It’s very loud (I’m talking jumbo jet loud) and it’s not exactly quick to boil. Mine arrived with a visible scratch, which was disappointing. Doesn’t have a great quality control system in place. Didn’t want the hassle of replacing so I’ll live with it.

I had tried various jug type kettles but found it difficult and dangerous to use when full of boiling water due to the weight. I have arthritis in my hands and with the handle on the side, rather than the topof the kettle, ones bent wrist is struggling to take all the weight because the hand is not in the correct lifting/carrying position (curled fingers,back of hand takes the weight using top handle)
I’m delighted to have found the Stylevia kettle because it is so easy to lift using the top handle, it is made from stainless steel, is lightweight with an easy to remove (yet secure) lid and has excellent pouring due to its cleverly designed spout. It is a dinky amusing design which although modern and stylish - still looks like a kettle!
In my opinion, an all round excellent product which I’m glad I purchased and am pleased to recommend.
The colour is perfect for my kitchen. Lovely looking kettle low noise and quick boil compared to my other kettle.
