Very good
I bought this 3 weeks ago and has not yet used all its attachments. Hence I have given 4 stars at present. I have problem with my shoulders and have found cleaning the house difficult. This makes the job so easy. It’s easy to assemble, manure and works well on both carpet and hard floors. Emptying is easy and as the suction is so good the cleaning time is reduced to less than half. I love it . My sister and her daughter recommended it and I am so thankful to them.

Does a good job
Bought 2 weeks ago. Good suction and vacuums pretty close to edges. Only downside is short charge on boost and smallish dust collection container. Lightweight and easy to use. Charging time when battery empty takes quite a long time, approx 3 and half hours. Would be useful if had a spare battery really. Quite quiet when not using boost, better than my last cheaper vacuum.

Disappointing
First I couldn’t hold the trigger on with my arthritis, so I brought a small gadget that sorted that problem. I am now finding the battery runs out very quickly and then takes ages to charge. So there is a few things that I have found disappointing

Not enough features
I needed to replace my old Dyson. The new one has fewer tools so I use the tool for wooden floor and the small one for stairs from my old one as they fit. This V8 also only has 2 power modes. I preferred the medium one on my old Dyson. I should have done my research better.

This is the second one I have bought, as I have not had a dlfferent stick Vacuum it’s hard to make a comparison. I can only say that the one I have functions fairly well and the run time is well over 30 mins .,The first one lasted about 4 years . The trigger guard broke off which in turn made the switch faulty hence the new one.I also found that fluff got trapped in the brush housing which needed removing every week otherwise it caused the motor to stop. It’s good from the mobility point of view and not too heavy.I bought this one as its better the devil you know .
