Wool quilt is lovely and warm, without overheating.. and better for my asthma as wards off dust mites. The cotton cover is a bit noisy - like paper rattling! When but not you turn over - but softer cotton cover helps reduce that. Overall very happy with it

Best Duvet I Have Ever Had
I’ve used this for a few weeks now and my sleep has improved so much. I fall asleep more quickly and have a deeper sleep. Although it has been cold recently, the medium tog duvet does the job perfectly.

Great Heavy Quilt for Hot Sleepers
I like a heavy quilt but get very hot at night even with a lightweight version. I read about the wicking properties of sheep's wool so decided to give this a try. It's not cheap but I am very happy with it so far. It is very heavy and comfortable but I have also been cool when sleeping under it. In fact I might even be able to use it in the summer. I'm delighted with this quilt and would recommend it to anyone who likes a heavy quilt.

Nice and warm
Nice and warm. They say it's like a 7-9 tog but it felt heavier. There was a smell of lanolin on opening the packaging but after airing for 24 hours in the sun, the smell reduced. Now it's on the bed I can't smell it.

Currently all our polyester and feather products are OEKO TEX approved.
I have added our wool products on to our 2025 renewal certificate so this product will be included on our OEKO TEX certificate next year.

The supplier has advised the following for the Slumberdown Wonderful Wool Medium Weight Duvet - Double:
Feather and down products are noisier because they have loose feathers against a tightly woven fabric, which makes a "crunching" sound when rubbed together.
The wool filling is softer than feathers and made in one full sheet of wool, so it will be considerably less noisy that a feather duvet.
(You might find just a light rustling noise as the fabric used is a better quality with a higher thread count, so the fabric has more weight and thickness).

The supplier has advised the following for the Slumberdown Wonderful Wool Medium Weight Duvet - Double:
"You don’t need to wash wool as its self-cleaning if aired out regularly."
To allow a wool duvet to breathe and wick away moisture, use a 100% natural duvet cover. We also recommend that your allow the duvet to air for 24 hours before use. You can sponge clean it for any spills.
