Impressive
Brought and tried a few times. Nice weight and smooth ironing. Controls are easy to use, only thing I feel could be improved are the instructions. But I would definitely recommend.

Great affordable iron
Everything you would want from an iron. Handy feature to catch the limescale bits that would otherwise go onto your dark clothes. Collection was simple process also.

Decent iron
So fat, so good. Cord shorter than my others which might be an issue for some. Fairly heavy which I prefer.
Boo, 45 - 54
An average iron at a premium price.
Overpriced. Its body is made with quite hard and sharp plastic. The temperature control focuses on very cool to moderately warm with little adjustment at useful temperatures when the steam is available. The cable is far too short unless the wall socket is at worktop height and directly adjacent to the ironing board. Itās an adequate iron but should really be half the price.

Easy Glide Iron
Glides very easily. Having issues with water leaking whilst using steam function. Currently trying different settings to see if it is hot enough. Generally though Phillips irons are the best as they have a strong cord which lasts longer than other brands.

Not recommended
Really poor. Only able to use on the eco setting for steam as the max steam setting leaked water everywhere. Also found it heavy and cumbersome to use. Needless to say I returned it.

PHILIPS AZURE 7000
First time used the steam function leaked water from sole plate making the clothes wet. So will have to return to Argos

Great results quickly
A bit heavier and possibly larger than the previous iron if same brand but much better steaming, much better and quicker ironing with excellent results with or without steam in cotton and linen. Very happy with purchase and happy to recommend

Hello Carol,
Philips DST7020 Azur Steam Iron
The time it takes to use a tank of water varies depending on the fabric, temperature chosen and how much steam you need to iron each item. It automatically switches itself off after 8 minutes of not being used. It doesn't have a clip for the cable.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Andie
The Steamglide Plus soleplate is made of cermet and glass ceramics. It has an advanced titanium layer and 6 layer coating that delivers ultimate gliding performance over any fabric. The soleplate is not made entirely of ceramic, but only covered with ceramic enamel. It can be made of steel or aluminum. The material used in the production of coatings is glass ceramics or metal ceramics, which gives the sole lightness and the iron as a whole - the freedom of movement and smooth glide. The basis here is alloyed steel, because it is less susceptible to mechanical damage.
Hope this helps. Thanks for using Q&A.
