Exercise bike
I was quite excited to order this but after carefully installing it the tension on the pedals doesn't work ...I had to take the belt compartment apart to see if it was loose but it wasn't....its just a pointless item that doesn't do the job it's meant to do Extremely disappointing
Char, 45 - 54, West Midlands
Great
I absolutely love it I use it 3 times a day
Bob, 65 or over, Essex
Had to return as faulty
When putting the bike together we found that we couldn't attach one of the pedals as there was a fault in the thread of the screw.

Clunky
Sent back without any issues from argos, although it was hard to pack back into box. Not a smooth ride due to it being manual. Reordered the magnetic version which is much better.

Hello Margaret,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Opti Manual Exercise Bike: ''Yes the pedals can be removed from the bike.
The pedals are separate when purchased and need to be threaded onto the crank arms. I unfortunately don’t have the measurements of the thread.''
Thank you for using Q and A.

Hello Bebe,
The supplier has advised the following for the Opti Manual Exercise Bike:
"Yes, it contains a small pc of magnet in the crank housing." So, it does have a magnet in it. We'd be unable to advise on its suitability or otherwise for someone with a pacemaker though, we'd advise to seek suitable qualified professional medical advice on this before considering any purchase.

Hello Davo,
From the information we have available, I can confirm this Opti Manual Exercise Bike can pedal forwards and backwards, but make sure the flywheel has stopped moving before pedalling backwards.
Thank you for using Q&A
I just tried mine and I can pedal both ways. The sensor reads from both directions. I like it. It's a simple design, not like a gym exercise bike, and for the price, very good. Good luck with your recovery!
Hello Sandy,
I can advise the following for the Opti Manual Exercise Bike:
Yes, however you would need to do this when the flywheel isn't moving.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Hello Hannah9095,
The supplier has advised the following for the Opti Manual Exercise Bike:
“ It should be ok as long as the user’s weight doesn’t exceed the max user weight. But this bike is an epp one and the resistance is so low that I don’t think the user will need to stand up cycle. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Tich,
The handles for the Opti Manual Exercise Bike cannot be adjusted. But you should be able to reach the handles without stretching.
