The Argos Home Fleur Single Metal Bed Frame provides a classic look with practical features for everyday use. This white-coated steel frame has curved head and foot panels, built to handle daily wear and provide flexible storage underneath. Metal slats support your mattress while allowing air circulation to keep it fresh. High legs create 30cm space for boxes or baskets. A central support beam adds stability. The frame splits into two halves, making it easier to move through doorways or stairs when rearranging or relocating.
The curved head and foot panels feature fan bar detailing with corner posts for a charming traditional finish. Rounded metal slats spread weight evenly and reduce pressure points on your mattress. The white coating protects the steel and blends with most bedroom colour schemes. Each corner is reinforced for reliable stability over time. Great, Sturdy Bed Frame
Purchased this a few weeks ago as a replacement for my wooden framed bed. I picked it up in the Argos sale with 25% off making it even more of a bargain. Instructions say this is a 2 person job, I found it very easy to assemble on my own in just over an hour, although I did use a cordless drill/driver with torque settings so I just had to do the last bit manually to tighten everything up. It's got good floor clearance for under bed storage, is very sturdy and looks great finished in white. With everything being of metal construction there is no chance of the slats warping like my old wooden bed frame. In all this was a great purchase and highly recommended if you are looking for a new bed frame.

A nice looking bed which was pretty easy to put together. The plastic pieces to secure the metal slats are a bit tricky to secure but you get into a rhythm!

Do you understand flatpack?
It needs 2 people who are experienced with flat pack designs and have lots of patience and grit for when the screws dont marry up with the holes. Also need strong thumbs to push in the final small greyplastic bits to stop slats from moving. My husband and I did it with some sweat and previous experience as had a single bed of same design.Beware!

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Fleur Single Metal Bed Frame - White gap is approx 17cm from slats to headboard, a 16cm mattress would be suitable.
