About this product
This small double metal bed frame provides sturdy support and practical storage space in one clean design. The Fleur from Argos Home features a white-coated steel structure with gently curved head and foot sections, each finished with fan bar detailing and corner posts. Metal slats are rounded for strength and help air circulate around your mattress. It's high-legged, so there's 30cm of space underneath for boxes, seasonal bedding, or everyday storage. A central support bar adds extra stability for long-term use.
The frame separates into two halves, making it easier to move through doorways and tight spaces. Metal slats are fixed to the base, so no adjusting or repositioning during use. It holds a maximum user weight of 220kg, suitable for double occupancy. Self-assembly required, two people recommended. Part of the Fleur collection, designed to work alongside other coordinating bedroom furniture. Includes a manufacturer's two year guarantee.

I ordered this lovely cream metal bed. It came promptly. My friend put it together for me. It came together very quickly. Nice and sturdy. I’m very pleased with the results. Ps I’m sleeping much better on my quieter new bed!

Easy to assemble
The bed was purchased for our granddaughter as her first double bed. She is only 8 and was very excited. The bed assembled very easily and she reports it as comfortable.

Good bed, until something goes wrong
I bought this bed and initially looks good. But right at the end of building it one of the parts is the wrong size (its the right style but wrong size by 20-30mm). This is where it gets tricky, its been really difficult to contact anyone that can help either online (as recommended by Argos), or on the phone. They are happy for me to repackage, dismantle and swap it, but thats really inconvenient for one part. Their spares solution can't help for this part. So its just been a major inconvenience if something does goes wrong. There's a reason I used Argos less and less...just been reminded why. A real shame as I can't rely on them initially with the product having the wrong parts, then the inconvenience of trying to find a solutions means I'll have to look elsewhere. Really shame as product was fine otherwise.

Yes, the stated 100cm height is to the tallest point of the Argos Home Fleur Bed Frame. However, on this specific design, the bedknobs (corner posts) are actually lower than the arching centre of the headboard.
