The Argos Home Fleur Double Metal Bed Frame gives you a solid place to sleep and a look that suits modern or traditional bedrooms. It's a white-coated steel frame that holds its shape through years of nightly use. The curved head and foot feature fan bar detailing with a corner post at each side, a classic design updated for contemporary spaces. It fits a double mattress comfortably, leaving room for two people to stretch out. The rounded metal slats support the mattress evenly and let air circulate underneath, helping to keep things fresh.
High legs lift the frame 30cm off the floor, so there's useful storage space underneath for boxes, spare bedding, or out-of-season clothing. A central support rail adds extra strength and keeps everything stable. The frame splits into two halves, which makes it easier to move through doorways or upstairs without awkward manoeuvring. Metal slats spread weight evenly and support up to 220kg in total. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings and instructions included. Comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Great, Sturdy Bed Frame
Purchased this a few weeks ago as a replacement for my wooden framed bed. I picked it up in the Argos sale with 25% off making it even more of a bargain. Instructions say this is a 2 person job, I found it very easy to assemble on my own in just over an hour, although I did use a cordless drill/driver with torque settings so I just had to do the last bit manually to tighten everything up. It's got good floor clearance for under bed storage, is very sturdy and looks great finished in white. With everything being of metal construction there is no chance of the slats warping like my old wooden bed frame. In all this was a great purchase and highly recommended if you are looking for a new bed frame.

A nice looking bed which was pretty easy to put together. The plastic pieces to secure the metal slats are a bit tricky to secure but you get into a rhythm!

Do you understand flatpack?
It needs 2 people who are experienced with flat pack designs and have lots of patience and grit for when the screws dont marry up with the holes. Also need strong thumbs to push in the final small greyplastic bits to stop slats from moving. My husband and I did it with some sweat and previous experience as had a single bed of same design.Beware!

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Fleur Single Metal Bed Frame - White gap is approx 17cm from slats to headboard, a 16cm mattress would be suitable.
