About this product
The Argos Home Fleur Double Metal Bed Frame gives you a solid place to sleep and a look that suits modern or traditional bedrooms. It's a white-coated steel frame that holds its shape through years of nightly use. The curved head and foot feature fan bar detailing with a corner post at each side, a classic design updated for contemporary spaces. It fits a double mattress comfortably, leaving room for two people to stretch out. The rounded metal slats support the mattress evenly and let air circulate underneath, helping to keep things fresh.
High legs lift the frame 30cm off the floor, so there's useful storage space underneath for boxes, spare bedding, or out-of-season clothing. A central support rail adds extra strength and keeps everything stable. The frame splits into two halves, which makes it easier to move through doorways or upstairs without awkward manoeuvring. Metal slats spread weight evenly and support up to 220kg in total. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings and instructions included. Comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Easy to assemble
The bed was purchased for our granddaughter as her first double bed. She is only 8 and was very excited. The bed assembled very easily and she reports it as comfortable.

Good bed, until something goes wrong
I bought this bed and initially looks good. But right at the end of building it one of the parts is the wrong size (its the right style but wrong size by 20-30mm). This is where it gets tricky, its been really difficult to contact anyone that can help either online (as recommended by Argos), or on the phone. They are happy for me to repackage, dismantle and swap it, but thats really inconvenient for one part. Their spares solution can't help for this part. So its just been a major inconvenience if something does goes wrong. There's a reason I used Argos less and less...just been reminded why. A real shame as I can't rely on them initially with the product having the wrong parts, then the inconvenience of trying to find a solutions means I'll have to look elsewhere. Really shame as product was fine otherwise.

Yes, the stated 100cm height is to the tallest point of the Argos Home Fleur Bed Frame. However, on this specific design, the bedknobs (corner posts) are actually lower than the arching centre of the headboard.
