Efficient and easy to use
My previous generator iron was also a Tefal which I've had for some years and I was happy with it but this model is definitely a step up. It's light to hold, glides effortlessly over any type of material and does a great job speeding through the the ironing. The Eco setting works well too, overall I am very happy with my purchase and can recommend.

Looks good & lightweight. Steam nit so good.
When buying a new appliance you always compare to your old one. On this occasion there are some improvements and some not so good. The iron is lightweight and very quiet. I don't think the steam is great. The initial burst is fantastic but the pressure doesn't last long enough to iron a pillowcase. There's 2 settings ECO and normal. ECO is the default and it was ineffective.

Brilliant iron
Ashtonishing lightweight iron with plenty of steam. No guessing at temperature settings as there is none. The iron will iron everything from silks to cotton without any problems. I don’t know how it achieves this, but it does. Ironing times are cut in half. The locking mechanism is simple and effective #o I keep it in a cupboard, Brilliant iron and brilliant price. Buy it!

It should do at that price obviously they must have had issues with earlier models but they need to come up with something, I hate wires taken up extra space

The Iron itself without the base is approximately 0.75-1 Kg.
We can confirm that this product is safe for all fabrics from denim to silk
Yes, we recommend to only use untreated tap water in our irons. If you know you live in a hard water area the untreated tap water can be mixed 50/50 with either distilled or demineralised water but there needs to be at least a 50% concentration of untreated tap water used in order for the steam function to work properly. Our irons are specifically made to use untreated tap water. Do not use any other water type as these contain organic waste, mineral elements that become concentrated when heated and cause spitting, brown staining, leaking or premature wear on your iron.
The product is heated from the boiler at the base of the generator. We recommend to let the product cool down.
