Cheap, big, great for homework
I bought this for my teen daughter so I could get mine back again. She uses it for homework, browsing and undoubtedly watching the TikTok’s. It’s a bit bigger than I thought but still portable enough. It’s lacking on peripheral ports overal and the absence of USB C on such a recent purchase is disappointing but again, we will live. It was cheap and will manage everything she needs it for

This is a good size laptop for around home computing use. Not much help getting up and running. Not very good information pack in box. had to go on line for trouble shooting. could be a problem for some.

Missing a screw.
Missing a screw so clearly Quality control is a bit on the poor side. overall its not to bad but it supports a lot less RAM than prior Aspire i3 17in models. I upgraded it to the max 24GB (8 built in non removable + 16GB ) and it seems happy gaming and video recording etc. Prior models supported an additional 32GB Stick which would have lifted this to 40GB if supported. Had to download the Realtek drivers for the Realtek manage to install correctly to address headset issues as the preinstalled version missed this. as it was a Black Friday and quid co offer I did well to get this at a very reasonable price thou. Battery isn't on power with my XPS but its a 17in so its not going to be traveling much. it has an ethernet port and proper USB ports which is good to see shame Theres no DVD drive, but decentish speakers and a full size keyboard but trackpad is off center.

From the information we have available I can confirm this Acer Aspire 3 17.3in i3 8GB 1TB Laptop does not meet the recommended requirements for running Autocad. You need at 16gb RAM.

The Acer Aspire 3 17.3in i3 8GB 1TB Laptop - Silver has suitable graphics to run most low level games and imagery software. It does meet the minimum requirements to run Football Manager 2023 but high graphic output might not be able to be achieved.
