About this product
The LLB Estella Ottoman Bed provides a generous resting space with a large storage compartment beneath the mattress. It features a hand-upholstered headboard and footboard with deep padding and a modern vertical design, finished in soft brushed velvet. Choose from nine velvet colours to match your bedroom. The end-lift mechanism opens hands-free with mattresses up to 60 kilogrammes, so you don't lift the full weight. Hand-turned hardwood feet keep the frame stable and slightly raised. Made in the UK, it's part of the Estella collection.
The storage area underneath accommodates bulky bedding, spare pillows, or seasonal clothing you don't need every day. A fabric dust protection sheet keeps stored items fresh and clean. The sprung wooden slat base supports your mattress evenly and allows air to circulate. Self-assembly requires two people and comes with clear instructions. The upholstered frame stands up to daily use, and there's a one-year manufacturer's guarantee included. Mattress sold separately, so you can pick the firmness and type that suits you best.

Purchased this bed through NEXT online arrived earlier than stated as it did say 6/7 weeks but arrived 3/4 weeks, took about 3 hours to build (Super King) so not bad going, the bed is of good quality and the colour and the velvet makes it look beautiful.

I am so disappointed
I an so disappointed with this bed it's already bent the metal underneath the slats have fallen out and even though it's a super king size bed our super king size mattress is about 3 inches to small and it squeaks terribly

Stunning!
I bought the bed in black, but was a little worried it was not a true black, but dark grey as some of photos seemed to suggest on the website. Bed arrived. Fabulous. A true black, with a stunning overall effect. Easy to put together, and seems of very good quality. I would say use your own tools. I used large and small Phillips screwdriver, and 13mm & 14mm spanners.

With a floor to underside of bed clearance of 3cm, this reduces the height to top of the siderail on the LLB Estella Velvet Double Ottoman Bedframe - Pearl to 31.5cm. The storage area is protected with a fabric sheet so should not affect this too much.
