About this product
The Helena Rise and Recline Chair gives you a powered hand when standing up or settling back into a recline. A motorised mechanism lifts or tilts the chair at the press of a button. It's built with a solid frame and filled with foam cushioning that supports your weight through everyday use. The charcoal fabric blends with most living room colours and styles. It's designed for people who need assistance standing from seated or want adjustable positioning for relaxing.
The button-operated controls adjust the position smoothly without manual effort. The fabric wipes clean and copes with light hoovering when needed. Minimal assembly required once it arrives. It runs on mains power, so you'll need access to a socket. Supports users up to 114kg. Comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Brilliant buy!
Has this chair nearly a month and it's brilliant. With mobility issues at the moment and lots of pain it's a godsend! Rises and reclines, very comfy, great height. Easy action on electric movements. Lovely material too. Great price for a good riser recliner! It's not too big either for a small bungalow living room. Can highly recommend.

Comfortable
This is a comfortable chair tho a little narrow in the seat, if you're broader in the beam. The motor is slow to raise and lower the foot rest. This is irritating if you need to get up quickly, i.e.to answer the door. Apart from that it is well made and good value for the price paid particularly as it was in a sale.The arm shape would be beneficial to those with arthritic hands.

So uncomfortable
I bought this 2 weeks ago and I'm really disappointed. The cushioning is really uncomfortable and lacks support. I feel that it is bad for my posture. In particular, when you lift footrest, the back automatically reclines with no support for lower back. A very poor buy which I regret. Very poor value for money.

Having checked the instructions. The back of the chair needs to be slotted into the seat. The electrics also need to be plugged together.

No it comes in one box and is in two halves. They slot together easily and can be done by one person.
No but it’s only the back part that’s separate and it fits in very easily

Yes it is on a lead and there is buttons which will recline the back and foot rest rise at the same time. Sadly, we do not have any images only the ones on our website where you can see it slightly poking out the side pocket of the chair
