Whilst digital technology has changed the photography world, there’s still a place for film and those good old disposable cameras. They make a perfect camera for kids so they can run wild without the worry of damaging expensive equipment and disposable cameras also work well at parties and weddings where guests can snap away and capture those special moments that others might miss while they get setup with an expensive camera.
The classic polaroid camera is also firmly back in fashion after a long time out of the limelight, and aside from its retro appeal it offers an amazingly tactile, instant experience. Remember if you’re shooting digital you don’t have to wait to get pictures printed at your local developer, you can also handle photograph printing at home using a photo printer and some photographic paper.
If film’s not really your thing we have a selection of DSLR cameras from Nikon and Canon which offer professional image quality with incredible build quality and flexibility. These cameras are a big step up from bridge cameras and other compacts, but well worth the investment if you’re serious about photography. If you just need something to capture some home videos of birthdays, days out, and holidays a camcorder is a cost effective option.
