Cavernous, simple composter

When this arrived it looked flimsy but it’s really simple to put together and is all that’s needed to complete composting at home with no faff. It’s perfectly rigid enough when built which takes a couple of minutes. Especially like the easy attached flip lid which stays open when emptying the lawn clippings and no hassle when dropping the kitchen waste into it. It’s a decent size for our needs too.

Vonhaus 480 litre compost bin

very easy (click-system) to assemble, the slatted in-built aeration design is a great feature and looks nice in the garden. Too early to tell if it's weather resistant but happy with the purchase, particularly at the special offer sale price 480L for the same price as the 360L model. Will probably buy a second one :)

Too early to know if they make good compost

Easy to put together but make sure all the lugs will go into the correct position before finally snapping them together. Only had them a couple of weeks so too soon to know if they will make good compost.

Pleasing & subtle shape

Easy to assemble, spacious with good access for grass clippings and alike. Pegs to affix to ground seemed to work well. Arrived in stout packaging in good condition.
