Poor. They seem to make their power weaker of late. Main issue is that this model has no charging light - though if you look at the pics, the position of the logo suggests that there is! Thus if you wish a decent, bog-standard replacement of your old one you're looking at twice the cost. Finally, the charger outputs a lower voltage than models of a few years ago. Sorry guys but caveat emptor.

OK. Only just bought this product so can't comment about plaque removal but if it's anything like my last Oral -B it will be good. Be advised there is no charging light to show when or if it requires recharge. The timer is broken down into 4 periods each of 30 seconds which can get a bit annoying as it stutters after every time period. There are 3 speeds which seem a little bit over the top. All in all it does what it supposed to do. Very good product.

Very good toothbrush at an excellent price
Excellent toothbrush, and teriffic value. The 2 minute timer has 3 "interruptions" along the way to help with even cleaning all around your mouth, and the pressure sensor stops you pressing too hard. It also has three cleaning modes and costs less that £30. No wonder it is highly praised by "Which?". I can thoroughly recommend it.

The toothbrush requires 16 to 22 hours for a full charge. You can check if it is charging by pressing the power button while it is on the charger; the toothbrush will not turn on if it is charging.

The Oral-B Vitality Pro Black Electric Toothbrush+ Brush Head does not have this feature. It is recommended to fully charge the toothbrush for 22 hours before first use. The toothbrush can then be stored on the charging base when not in use and this will ensure the toothbrush is always fully charged.
