It has three brushing modes. Daily Clean for everyday use, Sensitive and Sensitive Plus for a gentler experience, plus a built-in 2-minute timer to guide your routine. The rechargeable battery gives you long-lasting power, and the brush head bristles fade from colour to yellow when it is time for a replacement. Works with Oral-B replacement brush heads, and comes with two brush heads to get you started.
The 2D cleaning action oscillates and rotates to break up plaque along the gumline and between teeth. The timer keeps you on track with the dentist-recommended two-minute brushing time, while three modes let you customise your clean to suit your needs. The fading bristles show when to replace your brush head, usually around three months, so you always get optimal cleaning performance. OK. Only just bought this product so can't comment about plaque removal but if it's anything like my last Oral -B it will be good. Be advised there is no charging light to show when or if it requires recharge. The timer is broken down into 4 periods each of 30 seconds which can get a bit annoying as it stutters after every time period. There are 3 speeds which seem a little bit over the top. All in all it does what it supposed to do. Very good product.

The grip is this toothbrush's best feature!
The best thing about this toothbrush is the grip; otherwise very poor charging, no charging light and the fastest speed is a joke. Don't feel like it cleans your teeth very well at all.

This is a great toothbrush, I only use the gentle setting for my sensitive teeth, but it feels very thorough and leaves my teeth feeling very clean.

This is the third Oral B electric toothbrush I’ve bought, and this one is proving as good as the others. The 3 speed oscillation is useful, particularly if your gums are a little sore at any time. The brush heads are easily changed, simply by pulling one off and pushing another one on..my pack came with 2 heads which sets me up for a couple of months. According to my dentist, the effect of using an electric toothbrush has really kept my teeth virtually plaque free. Having compared the market carefully I found this Oral B model best value by far. The only thing I’d like to see added to the features is an indicator light to show the level of charge. It does have a timer feature too, which makes the oscillator pause for a moment. This indicates to the user that you’ve spent sufficient time in one particular area of your teeth, time to move on to the next.

The Oral-B Vitality Pro Black Electric Toothbrush+ Brush Head does not have this feature. It is recommended to fully charge the toothbrush for 22 hours before first use. The toothbrush can then be stored on the charging base when not in use and this will ensure the toothbrush is always fully charged.
