Customers Say
The portable tyre inflator is compact and convenient for emergency use, though some users find it slow and the instructions unclear. Overall, it performs well for topping up tyres and offers good value for money.

Overall decent, but infuriating button layout
Bought this to add to an existing cordless tyre inflator (useful to have two, so always a backup!). This is an OK product overall. Pros are a neat design with the cable and adaptors housed in the unit itself. I like there are memories for set pressures (my car has different pressures on front and rear). The display is clear, and the actual inflation is reasonable for this type of device (a little slow, but no different to other similar devices). There are negatives though. The cable is one you thread on to the tyre valve. This is less usable and more fiddly than a more standard connector which "clips" on with a lever. It sometimes cross-threads and you have to re-do it, and with this (in my view) it's only a matter of time before the thread on the valve itself gets damaged and it gets even more awkward to attach and detach. The second negative is the layout of the buttons which is infuriating as it's hard to push the actual power button (to start the inflation) without hitting the buttons either side. Honestly it can take up to 10 attempts to hit it cleanly in the dark, and forget about it if you have gloves on. Total design fail! Finally it's pretty bulky compared to my other inflator, pretty wide and won't as easily fit in glovebox, and definitely won't fit in door/armrest storage. Not sure I'd overly recommend or buy again, but it does the job OK.

Great Idea
Really difficult to use - I suspect it's bust but the controls are confusing and don't seem to work.

You get what you pay for.
A good emergency tyre inflator at a reasonable price. Costlier than the Chinese options but of a better quality.

Don't recommend
10-12 minutes to inflate to 36psi and then you need to allow 15mins to cool down to re-use. Instructions are terrible, buttons are fiddly and annoying . Rather expensive for what it is. Wouldn't really recommend unless you want an over priced portable inflator for a paddling pool.

Super compact but difficult to fathom out it's use
It's good but very confusing how to set pressures IE bar vice PSI.

Great bit of kit
Have to say, I wasn't expecting much, but it is a handy bit if kit to have in the car. Works perfectly. Definitely recommend

Great peace of mind
I bought this because recently 2 of my tyres went low. Finding a garage and a working air machine were very stressful so decided to look for something I could use myself. I have not had to use this inflator yet but it feels very sturdy and fits comfortable in the glove compartment. I feel much more reassured that this will be much more convenient for keeping my tyres inflated.

It’s okay
It is a good item but the instructions could be clearer. Once you get it working it does the job.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring RTC2000 Cordless Handheld Digital Tyre Inflator: The normal procedure is to screw the hose into the inflator and then offer up the nozzle of the hose to the tyre valve and screw it on. Clockwise to screw on, anti-clockwise to unscrew.

Hello Bob,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring RTC2000 Cordless Handheld Digital Tyre Inflator: This depends on the tyre size, type and other factors. The RTC2000 is designed for ‘topping up’ car tyres. However, it can inflate a bicycle tyre in less than 2 minutes.

This has a Tyre valve only so this wouldn't be possible, unless you can find an adapter to support the pools valves.
