Not working
Only had for a few months & it has stopped working. When going into any of the apps the volume works but there is no picture. The back button has never worked, it rewinds meaning you have to go to the home & back into app to watch a different program.

New to streaming? You must consider this!
This streaming player has quite simply changed the way we consume our TV viewing. It has opened up so many new options, some streaming channels we'd never previously heard of. If you're thinking of buying one, my advice is just do it, you will not regret it. Really simple to setup and you also have access to the Roku app for your phone. 5* product.

Easy to setup
had to buy this as our old box is no longer supported by Netflix. It was easy to set up and has been easy to use Only downside was having to create an account with Roku and add credit card details. (I subsequently logged onto my account and removed these details)

Does the job for a not so smart TV
Got a smart TV but can't get half the apps on it that we're subscribed to, this solved the problem. The UI is great and not had any playback issues. Shame it can't control the TV volume but you have to pay a little bit more for that.

Easy to set up and watch TV...
I'm so pleased I bought this. Its saved a small fortune on monthly subscriptions, and has everything I need, and more. Set up is super quick, and if I want to watch TV in bed I just plug it in and it's good to go. Brilliant price for a quality product. Excellent Roku!

Very useful product
Bought the Roku Express box specifically to watch Disney+ which we had received a free subscription for. The Roku box was extremely easy to set up and get working. The installed apps were also far newer and more stable than those on our aging smart TV. So YouTube, Netflix etc didn't crash any more! Furthermore it proved to be very responsive which made watching things more pleasant. All in all a very good buy for us. One downside, the adverts on many of the apps are excessive and intrusive.

All video streaming is variable bit rate, you will be able to use it, but potentially only at high quality 1080p. The Speedtest app allows you to see what quality of video you will get on your network. Available from the Play store and the App store.
