About this product
This Aspley Bed Frame is designed to bring calm and order to a small double bedroom. It's solid pine with built-in slats that provide lasting support for your mattress through years of nightly use. The raised headboard gives you a firm surface to lean back against when you're reading in bed or having a quiet morning with breakfast. The low foot end makes it easy to tuck in duvets and keep everything looking tidy. The warm grey finish works well with existing bedroom furniture and colour schemes.
The wooden frame spreads weight evenly and supports up to 220kg in total user weight. There's 22.5cm of space beneath the bed for storage boxes or cleaning underneath. The frame arrives flat-packed with clear instructions for assembly, two people recommended for easier handling. Wall-mounting brackets are not required, but the sturdy structure stays stable on its own. Backed by a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.

We are very pleased with this double bed. It is sturdy and looks good! The instructions for putting the bed together are clear, although it took a while! Once we had erected the bed, our double mattress simply slotted into place.
