The Argos Home Aspley Double Bed Frame gives you a clean, practical place to rest, with solid pine that handles everyday use. It's a shaker-inspired design that keeps things simple and functional, with a strong headboard to lean against when you're reading or settling in for the evening. The low footboard makes it easy to tuck in your duvet for a tidy finish. The white finish works with most bedroom styles, so it blends in without a complete furniture reshuffle.
The solid pine base and slats provide reliable support night after night. There's 22cm of space underneath, so you can slide storage boxes or a matching drawer unit beneath without wasted space. The frame supports up to 220kg total user weight. It arrives flat-packed and needs two people for assembly, with clear instructions included. Part of the Aspley collection, and covered by a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.
To make the most of your storage space, a matching under bed drawer is also available to buy separately. The product may arrive in Argos Home or Habitat packaging.

Looks lovely
I bought this a few weeks ago. It is very stable and matches with the furniture perfectly. It did take a couple of hours or so to put together and I would suggest having an electric screw driver, but the instructions were fairly easy to follow.

Poor Quality
Purchased this recently. Wouldn't recommend. Wood has two different tones of white, top bar of headboard not finished properly, other small areas also not finished properly, 2 bright yellow spots on the wood ( one in headboard). Fiddly to put together as a couple of the holes dont seem to be deep enough where bolts go. Poor quality and disappointing. It does have 'sturdy' going for it as a positive.

Hard too secure end support
Purchased 2 weeks ago, as a whole easy to put together, but a spare pair of hands does help putting frame together. Securing end support a bit of a pain, trying too tighten up with nuts on one side was a night mare. Bolt can’t have gone in quiet right so not enough too tighten up the nut . Got 3 out of 4 sorted , hopefully it should be ok. Once all bed slats secured seemed stable enough.

We bought this bed a few weeks ago and was surprised by how well made, strong & sturdy it is and it looks so lovely in our bedroom and with there being a reduction on the price it was great value for money. We have bought many items from Argos and have always found them to be good quality at a great price.

Solid frame
Brought as old frame broke, delivery was fine and on time. Bed frame went together well and quite quick, pleased with how it looks. It seems solid and sturdy. Would recommend.
