The Argos Home Aspley Double Bed Frame gives you a clean, practical place to rest, with solid pine that handles everyday use. It's a shaker-inspired design that keeps things simple and functional, with a strong headboard to lean against when you're reading or settling in for the evening. The low footboard makes it easy to tuck in your duvet for a tidy finish. The white finish works with most bedroom styles, so it blends in without a complete furniture reshuffle.
The solid pine base and slats provide reliable support night after night. There's 22cm of space underneath, so you can slide storage boxes or a matching drawer unit beneath without wasted space. The frame supports up to 220kg total user weight. It arrives flat-packed and needs two people for assembly, with clear instructions included. Part of the Aspley collection, and covered by a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.
To make the most of your storage space, a matching under bed drawer is also available to buy separately. The product may arrive in Argos Home or Habitat packaging.

Good solid base
It is a solid bed no movement whatsoever and fairly easy to put together but the finish on the wood in some places is a bit rough. It is definitely a more red colour and definitely not what I would call oak. It is is the lowest bed I have ever had as I have only had divan’s in the past but decided to try this for more airflow. I am still able to get a couple of boxes underneath. I’ve also had a quite a few bruises from the wood at the bottom of the bed but now I’m getting used to it.

Great Bed Frame With Some Disappointing Flaws
The bed frame looks fantastic in my bedroom — exactly what I wanted — and paired with the Silentnight Studio Eco 1000 Pocket Mattress (Single), it’s very comfortable. Assembly was fairly straightforward, and once put together the frame feels stable and solid. For the discounted price, the overall design is great. However, there were a couple of flaws on arrival. There was a crack at the tip of the headboard which isn’t visible once assembled, but I’m unsure whether it may cause issues later. I glued it with wood glue and clamped it to be safe. There was also a stain on one of the front legs that looked like blood, which took quite a bit of effort to remove with Cif. I wouldn’t expect marks like that on a brand‑new item. I needed the frame urgently, so I made do, but it was disappointing to deal with these defects. If it had arrived in pristine condition, I would’ve happily given it 5 stars.

Built last weekend, looks stunning for the price, As with all these type of beds the middle support is not strong enough in my opinion, small wooden slats. If it had metal support instead it would be perfect

Great bed for the money
This bed certainly seems well made and easy to assemble. It arrived well packed and all the ironmongery came individualky packed and identified which helped in assrmbly. Instructions were fairky ckeat abd straightforward. The bed looks good for the money and is very stable. The slats look to be firm and add to the stability. My grand daughter sleeps in thr brd and finds it very comfortable.
