Bought a Morphy Richards jug kettle, a model with excellent handling, clear water level indicator and a generous 2lt capacity. Chrome styling with a free standing disc base plate. Very pleased.

My favourite kettle 🥰
This is my 3rd of these kettles in the past 12 years. I have tried other kettles in that time but keep returning to this one. It heats up super quickly and is easy to fill and it outlasts all the other models I've tried but a significant amount of time. It holds a lot of water too which is ideal when you need to fill multiple hot water bottles during a Highland Winter!

We bought this to replace a Argos kettle(can't remember the brand) which has previously been excellent. It was noisy and slow to boil. Replaced it with this more expensive one and it took is noisy and slow to boil and also very heavy when filled. I had hoped the panel illuminated but it doesn't. All in all another disappointing purchase

Great replacement kettle
The kettle replaced a 10 year old BHS one. It is as quick to boil as the old one, has enough capacity and a filtration mesh. Plus it fits the colour scheme of my kitchen. It was relatively cheap too. Very pleased.

We can confirm that the Equip kettle will stop heating and turn off once it has boiled. The kettle is cordless with a 360° base and is designed to automatically switch off after boiling for safety.
If the kettle is lifted off the base during boiling, the heating will stop and power will be cut while it is off the base. However, for safety reasons, we do not recommend removing the kettle from the base while it is boiling. It is always advised to allow the kettle to fully boil and switch off automatically before removing it from the base.
