The Bush BSH60BFCHB Gas Hob makes everyday cooking simple with four burners in varying sizes, so you can tackle your main and sides simultaneously. Automatic ignition works with a quick press and turn of the dial, leaving one hand free to steady your pan. Burners deliver between 1kW for gentle simmering and 3kW for fast boiling, with front-mounted dials that let you adjust the heat in seconds. Enamel pan supports give your pots and pans a stable base and wipe clean easily, while the flame failure device cuts off gas if the flame goes out, giving you peace of mind when juggling multiple pans.
Finished in black, this gas hob fits a standard built-in aperture and keeps front controls within easy reach. It works with LPG too, with an adaptor kit included in the box. The 3-pin plug powers the ignition system, so you just plug it in and you're ready to cook. Whether you're frying bacon, boiling rice, or simmering a sauce, the mix of burner sizes handles everything from quick breakfasts to weekend feasts. Comes with a 1-year guarantee.

Basic model but does the job
I bought this after a gas leak on my previous hob meant that I needed a replacement. The ordering and delivery was spot on with no problems at all. The hob is basic but decent but there are a couple of things that I have found since it was installed. The switch on button do feel a bit flimsy and the gas burners could do with a different placement. The biggest burner is at the back which isn't ideal but they are not interchangeable so it has to be there. We were only looking for a basic model so this is exactly what you would expect for those expectations. Nice colour and does look ok, just those couple of things that I have mentioned that go against it.

Good gas hob, perfect for our kitchen
We bought this a month ago to replace the old hob that came with the house we're moving in and that was not working anymore. The burners work really well and the hob is a little larger than the old one - we had to cut some space in the bench to make it fit, but it was worth it. The extra space allows for the pans and casseroles to be put over it without feeling that they are fighting for their space.

Sadly no, our fitters will not cut the worktop. For any integrated appliance or any type of cooker, we can install your new product and check it's working as part of this service. We will also disconnect and take away your old appliance, along with any packaging, and recycle it.

The supplier has advised the following for the Bush BSH60BFCHB Gas Hob - Black:
This does have a gas safety shut off valve, specifically: "This model has a flame safety device on it. If the flame is lit and then gets blown out by a draught, then the gas would not continue pouring through at full rate. It would reduce to an amount that could naturally be disbursed in the room that it is installed in."

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Bush BSH60BFCHB Gas Hob - Black: It is supplied with a 3 pin power cable, but this only powers the ignition as it is a Gas hob.
This must be fitted by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

The supplier has advised the following for the Bush BSH60BFCHB Gas Hob - Black:
"I can confirm that the gas feed is in the back right corner, angled diagonally downward and within the area covered by the top facia (not sticking out)."
They add the following points too: "The connection should be made using a rubber gas hose of standard type which is available in different lengths so a degree of flexibility in positioning can be accommodated. Fitting and commissioning (location suitability assessment and connection test) must be done by a Gas-Safe registered engineer for safety reasons."
