Great bit of Kit
Purchased this to download pics and videos from my Nikon P1100 camera as the WIFI connection was rubbish. Put the SD card into this reader, plugged into either my iPhone or iPad and it quickly transferred into my photos library and iCloud EXCELLENT!

Simple to transfer from SD card to phone...
I bought this SD reader adapter to transfer photos from digital camera to phone - for onward transmission via WhatsApp etc. Much easier than using Bluetooth/WiFi from camera to phone. Adapter works well on phone - see pictures on card, then select ones to transfer to phone. Reasonably fast operation.

It is also compatible with a Sony A6400 camera, as this camera uses standard SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards which are compatible with the reader. You can even transfer video files this way. This supports SD cards only, you can use it in this way, however if you have a USB-C connection on your iPhone then you can use a SSD/HDD with a USB-C cable also without an adapter.
