Great radio just one thing you need to know......

Bought this radio to replace an earlier Roberts R20 DAB. We needed a DAB+ set. Super sound quality, clear easy to navigate menus. Great stuff. One querk is that in certain regions if you listen to a regional DAB+ station the set may turn off! This doesn’t appear to happen in London. In my region it does. This is a DAB+ network issue and not the radio and should be fixed in coming weeks. The good thing is all BBC programmes work normally as do all national ones sometimes marked “UK” in the menu list. Obviously you can pick many on FM. I hope you find the review helpful.

Beautifully designed radio - for all adults.

Fantastic radio. I bought this for my elderly mum who has dementia. She finds that having just a few traditional knobs to turn - volume and 'intelligent tuning' which displays in colour, the station along with some 40 presets (20 each) for DAB+ and VHF/FM makes it very usable. She is able to choose a different station easily using the tuning knob as it shows the different stations available as she dials. As it appears less complex, she has found it a much less steep learning curve and much less intimidating than a similar radio with more buttons and dials. Being a Roberts it has a beautiful rich sound and has nice bass and treble controls. There is some additional functionality which is very useful, though not for my mum (!) such as Bluetooth, AUX input, Alarm function and Headphone socket. It is portable, which means she can take it from room to room with her, or along the communal hallway in her independent retirement block of flats to her friends for a communal sing-song. Beautifully made. It's available in black or white. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Nice size. Very good souny

I bought this a week ago. Unfortunately I am returning it because it keeps turning itself off. I am extremely disappointed. I will ask for a replacement hopefully it will be alright.

This Blutune 7 was bought to replace and oder Roberts Gemini 21 and is far better, but at near the same price, what's not to like?

Great looking radio, great sound.

I bought this radio to replace my retro look radio I have had a while, it became ‘sticky’ & also peeled, nothing at all wrong with the superb sound though! This radio however is a hard case & handle, it’s fabulous with everything you would expect from Roberts , so at 75 will no doubt ‘see me out’. I highly recommend.

Great radio at 72 years old have always bought Roberts radios must have a dozen are more collect over the years and they just get better this is by far the best house radio yet really love it and best of all it was my 51 ,wedding anniversary present so it was free.
