Leisurewize Twin tub washing machine
I bought this because my automatic washing machine has broken and it will be a while before I buy another one as I'm having the flooring changed. You need to understand what you are buying. I did understand because I remember my Grandmother having one in the 1970s. It is not the same as an automatic washing machine. There is some effort involved. The video on the Argos site explains the process well, but for the younger generation you might not understand the difference between this and an automatic washing machine. Eg, the water you put into the machine has to be manually drained out of it. So far I have washed: tops, skirts, jeans, standard size towels etc. I have used two different types of detergent and both have worked well. I have used liquid delicate washing liquid from the supermarket. I have also pre-disolved washing pods and added the disolved liquid to the washing water. I wouldn't recommend adding pods that haven't been pre-disolved. You need to understand that the water temperature when added to the machine is the final temperature. So, you don't select a temperature via the machine "knobs". I have been impressed with the spin option in terms of how much water it removes from the clothes. So, before you buy I would recommend that you watch the video and if you buy the twin tub that you read the instructions before you use it. The clothes I have washed have been standard material. I don't own anything silk or delicate. So long as you understand the effort involved you won't be disappointed. You also have to have smaller loads than you would in an automatic machine. I will eventually be getting another automatic washer, but until that happens this works fine for me.

Perfect for a small studio flat
I have been using this weekly since I bought it a few weeks ago. I like that I can control the time of the wash and the spin cycle. I wash a few items in the washer, then rinse them by hand before popping in the spin dryer.

Ease of use
I bought this about a month ago and it's great, so easy to use and you can wash while you're spinning, one of the biggest advantages is it's very easy on electric. It's also lightweight. You can't fit as much in as a conventional washer but a wash on takes 15 minutes and I find a minute spin cycle wrings it out perfectly. No plumbing required and keep the washer above the outlet hose. One other brilliant thing is it's very portable so great for breaks away caravan etc. Very happy with purchase so far.

Twin tub
I am very pleased with this twin tub. It has cut down the time doing the washing as can wash and spin at the same time. The spinner is very effective and gets the clothes fairly dry.
