The Habitat Squares Plus 8 Cube Storage Unit sorts out your clutter and keeps things tidy in any room. It's an 8 cube design that you can set up however suits you, leave the cubes open for books and display bits, or add drawers and boxes to hide things away. The wood effect finish gives it a clean, modern look that fits in with most home styles. It's tall enough to make the most of your wall space without taking up loads of floor room. The minimalist frame with hidden fittings looks smart from every angle, so you can use it as a room divider or against a wall.
There are 8 fixed shelves that hold up to 60kg total, so you've got plenty of space for books, storage boxes, or whatever you need to organise. Each cube fits standard storage boxes up to 33cm high and wide, that gives you loads of options for customising it. The thick frame keeps everything stable and sturdy through daily use. Wall fixings are needed because it's over 60cm high, that's really important for safety and preventing tipping. Self-assembly required, one person can manage it with the instructions provided.

It works, but assembly is not easy.
Assembly was something of a nightmare, the laminate on some of the thinner inner sections actually split when dowels were hammered home and the whole thing then collapsed when I tried to add the top section, making things even worse. I got it together with a lot of glue but really can't recommend it.

Does the job and is sturdy enough, but overpriced.
This is the second one of these I’ve purchased. I’m sure that must say something? It’s fairly large, sturdy and I put it together myself in 30-40 minutes. The only downside is that you’re basically paying £90 for a few cuts of coated MDF. The thing crumbles under pressure in the wrong place (like using a mallet or hammer when putting it together).

Excellent clone of a Dark Oak KALLAX
So, IKEA discontinued KALLAX in their Dark Oak colour scheme early in 2025. This was inconvienent to me as I required an additional 4x2 Dark Oak KALLAX to match my existing furniture. This is pretty much an identical clone of said KALLAX, matching in both colour and dimensions and is compatible with other KALLAX branded accessories. Overall, excellent.

Good quality but disappointing assembly. Side panel had no pre-drilled holes and had to ask for help from a friend with an electric drill.

It was a good piece but faulty
Bought this during Christmas holidays and put it together . The too end pieces had no holes to screw the top or bottom pieces . Thrn had to get a neighbour to come in and drill and measure holes to be able to complete the piece . It was too far to take vavk and had spent a long time on it .

8 cube spaces, ideal for any cube storage boxes up to H33, W33, D38cm.
Internal cube space: H33.5, W33.5, D38.7cm. (This measurement is slightly bigger than the above to allow for room around the box to be inserted)

Having checked I can see this would need to be secured to the wall with the brackets provided. Please see link below for assembly instructions: https://spares.clickspares.co.uk/Argos... With the bracket it may be difficult to secure from the side.

used with the 2 wall attachment devices provided.'' To hang horizontal you may need more wall fixings?
