Needed to replace two very old wall lamps so whilst redecorating I came across these and bought two, they’re now fitted and yesterday bought the matching ceiling fitting and fitted that, very pleased with them.
Bought these online. Wanted something that would match my ceiling lights. A little on the small side but look good on the walls. Value for money

When this was delivered, I was dismayed to find that it had no on/off switch or pull. As it was for a bedside light, it would have meant getting out of bed every time to switch it on or off! I think this should have been made explicit in the online catalogue. Fortunately I have been able to return it for a refund, and have now purchased one with a built-in switch.

I can advise the following for: Argos Home Curico Glass Wall Light - Chrome & White
The light is hard-wired into the mains electrical system. It typically uses a mounting bracket attached to the wall, with the base plate covering the wires.
The Home Curico Glass Wall Light - Brass & White is hard wired into the electrics and can be linked to a dimmer switch. There is no provision for a flip switch on a cord from the light fitting.
The supplier has advised the following for the Home Curico Glass Wall Light - Chrome & White:
“Yes, it is a class 1 earthed product, and the earth connection is made by a metal pin connected to metal back plate.
The insolation paper under the terminal block also shows the earth symbol where customers will connect the earth wire from the house. ”
