This is fantastic, particularly with the stable part of the table we're you can serve drinks. As my partner is very ill with cancer and in bed a lot, he can enjoy reading or watching his phone as the main table can be adjusted to suit him. It's particularly helpful as the table can remain straight for meals & altered for reading etc. You can apply the brakes, or leave them off allowing for easy & quick removable from bed. So easy to assemble too. The nursing staff were impressed as the table can be straight or angled allowing for patients convience and making nursing very easy for them too. Great purchase.

Very Useful Table.
This is the second one we've purchased, one for downstairs bought 3 years ago and this new one for upstairs. Good in all respects, just a pity it's not available in a light oak effect. .

Good solid bed table
The table was easy to assemble - 4 bolts a spanner was provided, instructions and diagrams clear and easy to follow . The height and reach of the table was better than most and the tilt was well designed with a locking cog arrangment.

I would love to leave a review, however after waiting in for FIVE scheduled delivery dates & times, I am still waiting. With no communication from Argos on any occasion as to why they keep failing.

The table is assembled upside down so you start with the top on the floor, then add the upright leg and then finally the base. There are 2 sizes of Allen key which fit the bolts that hold it together. There are some washers too but it comes with a clear diagram. The diagram is also online in the description so you could look at that before buying. You don't need any other tools.

The supplier has advised the following for the Deluxe Multi Purpose Overbed Table:
"It is possible if you want it to be static depending on the amount of space under the divan, however it would not be recommended."
We'd have to add that it would hinder ease of movement were you to do so but, also, as it's designed to be used with the castors on, any faults or damage that developed as a result of trying to use it without them wouldn't be covered under the guarantee.
