Overpriced and purchased because it looks aesthetically pleasing in the room. Power and airflow output even on max didn’t cut it. Sadly disappointing. As for the ioniser function, no noticeable Improvement in air quality.

Worth every penny
I’ve had this fans for a couple of weeks and they are just amazing , bought two and my daughter love it, we couldn’t get fans when the heat wave started and when I finally saw this were available, I drove 12 miles out of town to get them, I would recommend, not noisy and they are strong.

Does the job, not ideal for night-time use though
Does the job. Haven't actually used the ionization feature yet but the airflow is good and the tilt feature is surprisingly useful. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the display LED doesn't auto dim, and it is *very* bright at night. Instead you have to remember to press the "Dim" button (or long-press the fan speed control) to turn the display off after every adjustment. Also slightly annoying that you can't turn off the loud beep on every adjustment.

Sometimes noisy, the oscillation is about 90 degrees which is not good and airflow is OK not as I expected because I have another dimplex fan which is cheaper but very effective.

I'm not disappointed
I actually like Dimplex fans. Generally good looking this fan is reasonably quiet on low set. The ionisation is good addition. The tilt is easy to adjust. Not disappointed with purchase. I also have the Dimplex DXMBCF Black Tower Fan in another room which also was a good purchase .

he Dimplex Ion Fresh is a tower fan with an ioniser. It cools you by moving air across your skin, which helps sweat evaporate and makes you feel cooler, but it does not lower the room temperature like an AC does. The ioniser mainly helps improve air quality by attracting airborne particles such as dust and pollen
Only an air conditioning unit will bring the temperature of a room down. Fans lime these create a breeze to make you feel cooler.
Hello, you cannot set the temperature on these units, they have 3 speed settings( low, medium or high) and 3 different modes (normal, natural and sleep). The current room temperature will show on the LED display.

"If the fan is facing you with the cable at the front, the fan should oscillate left and right."

There are no energy ratings for cooling fans.
The Fan is a sealed unit and can not be opened. We recommend using a damp cloth on the air inlet and outlet regularly.

There is a check that can be completed on the remote and this can be done by putting a smart phone into selfie mode and pointing the remote at the camera. If the remote is working, you will see a flickering light on screen coming from the remote's infrared lens. If you cannot see the light, then a new remote will be required.
