Stylish good quality fan
We bought this a week or so ago as our previous tower fan had developed an annoying squeak so was of no use during the night. Arrived within timescale quoted and easy to set up. Haven’t had chance to use all the different features of the fan but very happy with it so far. It’s reasonably quiet, certainly didn’t affect our sleep, and considering hubby hates any chink of light coming through the curtains, we were very impressed you can turn the LED screen off. Also the copper/rose gold colour makes it look quite stylish

Weak cooling properties
I bought it when the heatwave started. Not worth the money. It simply distributed hot air around the room. If you sit in front of the fan then you get some wind but overall I would not recommend it for hot weather.

It’s just a fan and not a great one at that
V disappointed with this. It is just a fan and does not cool the room as proven by temp gauge. Advert implies that it does as who would need a fan on at 19 degrees. The description is v misleading. We kept it because my partner liked the look of it and wanted to get rid of our traditional fan. Which I now use as it is more effective

he Dimplex Ion Fresh is a tower fan with an ioniser. It cools you by moving air across your skin, which helps sweat evaporate and makes you feel cooler, but it does not lower the room temperature like an AC does. The ioniser mainly helps improve air quality by attracting airborne particles such as dust and pollen
Only an air conditioning unit will bring the temperature of a room down. Fans lime these create a breeze to make you feel cooler.
Hello, you cannot set the temperature on these units, they have 3 speed settings( low, medium or high) and 3 different modes (normal, natural and sleep). The current room temperature will show on the LED display.

"If the fan is facing you with the cable at the front, the fan should oscillate left and right."

There are no energy ratings for cooling fans.
The Fan is a sealed unit and can not be opened. We recommend using a damp cloth on the air inlet and outlet regularly.

There is a check that can be completed on the remote and this can be done by putting a smart phone into selfie mode and pointing the remote at the camera. If the remote is working, you will see a flickering light on screen coming from the remote's infrared lens. If you cannot see the light, then a new remote will be required.
