About this product
Manhattan Aero brings you Freely, the new streaming platform from the UK's top broadcasters. Connect Aero to your Wi-Fi to enjoy over 70 live TV channels and 75,000+ hours of on-demand TV from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and more, all for free. Pause live TV, restart programmes, and scroll back through the guide for catch-up. It's proper telly in any room with Wi-Fi – no aerial, no dish, no installation.
Aero brings everything together in one place. It's powered by TiVo OS, so on top of Freely, there's Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube and more. Additionally, TiVo+ gives you another 400+ free streaming channels and a huge library of free on-demand movies and shows.
With so much to explore, Aero's voice remote lets you search by title, mood, or even a quote. Just say 'thrillers', 'show me something funny' or 'here's looking at you, kid'.
Setup couldn't be easier: simply plug in the included HDMI cable, connect to Wi-Fi, and you'll be streaming in minutes.

Great alternative to Freesat with no dish
At last, a TV streamer with Freely compatible with our ancient LG equipment. The included HDMI cable connected easily and quickly revealed the programme guide. Navigation through the channels via one button is simple and 4K resolution is available. A much better option than buying a new TV. HBO MAX with TNT Sports available soon

Great streaming device.
Does the job as described. No need for an Ariel. Excellent. As long so you're internet connection is adequate.

Great for freely but poor smart streamer
Positives first: Freely works well, fast changing between channels, don’t have to flick between apps to watch live broadcast TV. HD is the default, no SD simulcasts taking priority on the EPG. However negatives: As a smart streamer this product is pretty poor with poor app selection (now TV, paramount + and HBO Max notable omissions). It didn’t seem to detect my 5ghz WiFi signal so had to limit it to 2.4ghz reducing the speed to around 30mbps which in 2026 feels pathetically slow. Overall if you want freely then get this product as it’s currently the cheapest way to do so without getting a new TV. If freely really wants to increase market penetration they need to prioritise getting the app onto established platforms rather than over priced average products like this.

Apt title for streamer
Freely is a great streamer. Easy interface, excellent picture and very easy to connect. Instructions on use could be improved with some pictures of the screen showing the different rows and their function. But, whatever, a great device. Will use in our motorhome as well. Also installed Freely for my sister

Pretty good
Works fine. East to set up and use and gives more channels than I will ever use. One small gripe, the batteries provided in the box for the remote where dead on arrival.

Epic
Just Epic, it's the King of the free TV and no aerial required

Manhattan Aero 'Freely' and Apps WiFi device.
Bought for my bedroom TV, as no aerial feed there and I do like Freeview channels. This Aero 'Freely' device was easy to set up; you just have to follow the prompts. Pleasantly surprised with the wealth of Freely channels plus the usual Apps, eg, Netflix, etc available. Connected to my WiFi immediately and the picture is excellent. Very happy with my purchase!

Live TV without an aerial, dish or subscription
I don't have an aerial connection in my bedroom, and I don't want a new TV just for Freely, so this was a great option for me. Easy to set up, and easy to use. At present it won't control my soundbar volume but an update is due. I think a firestick or Apple TV are better for apps, but they don't give you live TV.

Not as good as I hoped.
Not as good as I hoped; picture not sharp; sound is low compared to Roku stick. No way to access BBC text which I really do miss.

Hi there,
The T4R is a Freeview recorder, the S4R is aFreesat recorder. They share the same Manhattan interface and most of the same features, including pause, rewind and series link.
The main differences are that the T4R uses a rooftop aerial, the S4R uses a satellite dish. The S4R records up to four channels at once (the T4R does two) and Freesat carries more than 35 HD channels, where Freeview has nine.
The Manhattan Aero 4K TV Streamer has 70 live TV channels and 75,000+ hours of on-demand from the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, My5 and more. No aerial, no dish, no installation - just wifi
