A brilliant, style-packed flip phone that makes switching from iPhone seamless, let down only by minor software quirks and missing UK features.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An iPhone User’s Honest Take on the Razr 70 Ultra — The Good, The Bad, & The Quirks! As a long-time iPhone user, making the switch to an Android device felt incredibly daunting, but the Motorola Razr 70 Ultra has made the transition surprisingly smooth! One of my biggest fears was losing the seamless gesture controls of iOS, but I was thrilled to find that you can set this phone up to use swipe gestures rather than the traditional Android "home" and "back" buttons. It instantly made the phone feel familiar and intuitive. Right out of the box, I was also really impressed that it came with a beautiful, matching protective case with a built-in strap—something you definitely don't get with Apple anymore! The battery life is solid, and when you do need a top-up, the fast charging is incredible and gets you back to 100% in no time. Comfort & Design: In terms of Comfort, the clamshell design is incredibly satisfying to use. It folds down into a neat, compact square that easily slips into pockets where normal big phones feel bulky. The textured back panel gives it a high-end, premium feel that makes it comfortable and secure to hold one-handed without slipping. Performance, Responsiveness & Connectivity: The overall Responsiveness of this device is brilliant. Driven by a powerful processor, flipping between intensive mobile games like UNO and streaming apps on both displays is flawlessly smooth with zero lagging or stuttering. Connectivity has also been flawless; my 5G signal has been fast and steady everywhere, and it pairs instantly over Bluetooth to my smart accessories and car entertainment system without dropping out once. The Storage & Pro-Grade Camera: The built-in Storage is a massive win—coming with a whopping 512GB means I have ample space for thousands of heavy 4K videos, massive game files, and offline playlists without ever worrying about hitting a wall. The Camera system is another major highlight. The triple 50MP setup captures crisp, vibrant colors, and the "camcorder mode" (holding it folded sideways) is brilliant for shooting incredibly steady video. I’m also obsessed with Moto's signature camera gestures: the "twist-twist" shake to quickly launch the lens has become second nature. I also love the shortcut options for screenshots, especially just holding three fingers on the screen or using the double-tap gesture on the back of the phone. Another massive plus is being able to use a video as your live lock screen wallpaper, which looks amazing. The Cons & Regional Frustrations: However, it isn’t entirely perfect, and a few things have bugged me. When using the outer screen for messaging apps, opening the keyboard completely takes over the display, making it almost impossible to read the previous messages you are replying to. Being in the UK, I was also disappointed to find several highly advertised features missing in our region. We don't get the nostalgic "Retro Razr" mode, the "Bypass Charging" battery feature (which allows you to power the phone directly from the plug to prevent overheating while gaming), and you oddly cannot create a photo-collage wallpaper with multiple pictures without downloading a third-party app. Furthermore, the settings are a bit disjointed. Instead of everything being in one place, you have to split your time between the main Android Settings menu and a separate "Moto" app to change things. While the crease in the middle of the main display is slightly noticeable to the touch when you are swiping, I can already feel myself getting used to it the more I use it, but I think that pure on a flip phone itself and switching from a standard phone. Final Verdict: I originally switched thinking Android would offer endless, easy customisation. Ironically, the theme engine actually feels quite limited here compared to what iOS now offers natively. That being said, my overall transition has been incredibly smooth because I could map the interface to mimic my iPhone habits. You get a familiar user experience but with all the added fun, portability, and style of a flip phone. It's an excellent conversation starter, a joy to use, and a solid 4/5 stars!

Great stylish phone bring back old memories
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flip phone style bringing back old memories, was worried the flip part would be very visible but its not, screen is seamless and the hinge looked robust as well, so hopefully it does last and no issue in the future. The phone is fast, vivid colour and sound also great, the best part is the battery is last longer than my other phone, happy with the phone so far and looked very cool

Amazing standout and design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has totally blown me away. It looks so stylish. I'm pretty impressed with the screen. Once flipped open, the internal screen is absolutely gorgeous. I barely feel any creasing while scrolling. The camera quality is awesome. The photos are crisp, bright and sharp. I love half folding it, as it acts like my own tripod with my friends. It has enough generous storage for my unlimited photos, games and videos but doesn't have a Microsd slot. It is packed with 5G,so streaming and downloading on the go is lightning fast. It is a statement piece that doesn't compromise on functionality. It has a great display, excellent camera and design that stands out in the crowd and fits easily in my pocket.
