About this product
This lightweight rotary airer is perfect for drying clothes outdoors when you've got limited garden space. It gives you 30m of drying space across three arms, so there's plenty of room to hang a couple of loads without taking over the whole garden. The umbrella lifting mechanism means you can pop it up and down easily, and the steel central pole keeps everything steady while your washing dries.
The lines have a PVC finish that's smooth and wipe-clean, and it all sits in a ground socket so you can lift it out when you're not using it. The turning circle when it's fully open is 1.92m, and it weighs just 2.8kg, so it's easy to handle and move about. It comes with a two-year guarantee from the manufacturer, so you can dry with confidence.

Dryer was good value for money
Bought this to replace the one which was in the garden when I moved into the property Needed a new stake to fix it into the ground, so bought the one from Argos, but the two don’t fit that tightly so the washing line is not that secure (it wobbles)

Only this, and nothing more
Needed washing line on Saturday, but unable to use yet, as bought washing line in store, but ground spike only available to order. It might be a wonderful washing line, and "just what I needed", but without the neccessary ground spike, it's just a wasted shopping trip. It was fairly easy to assemble what I did have - extending the arms etc., much like putting up a big umbrella - and it seems quite well made for the price. We'll just have to see what the situation is re useage, once the ground spike arrives. Ho hum...

Cheap and cheerful
Line is fine, but the included ground socket is just domed plastic, ok for concreting in, but not to hammer into the ground. Returned the next day to buy a metal ground spike to mount it into.

Hello Pockets,
The supplier has advised the following for the Argos Home 30m 3 Arm Outdoor Washing Line:
“Occasionally the line on your rotary airer might sag, this can be due to a number of factors; weather conditions (lines are more prone to sagging in warmer weather), tangled lines, unevenly spaced lines and the rotary operation not being locked at its highest point. Before you use the line tension clip please ensure you have eliminated all the above factors.
Warning: the line tension clip is there to be used as a last resort to re-tension your rotary washing line.
Pinch where arrows indicate and open
Unwind the loose line end
(warning - do not untie the knotted line end)
Pull the loose line end until it is at your desired tension
Rewind the loose line end
Secure by looping end of line back into the clip
Close clip
Your line should now be re-tensioned”
Images go along with these instructions and can be found on the last page of the instructions manual.
Thanks for using Q & A.
