Braun SE5 041 Pink Epilator

Once I got used to it, I now enjoy using it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to try one as it was getting frustrating with razors and creams. I found it took a bit of getting used to the pressure and angle when using it on my legs. I also found that it was harder with longer hair, so the second time of using it, my leg hair was removed easier as it was shorter. It took a bit of getting used to the feeling of the hairs getting removed but got used to it, and now it's not an issue. I also noticed that the hair didn't come back as quickly, which shows its working and great that ive got an eplilatpr to use. The option of being able to change the heads is helpful and useful. The fact you can use it in a bath or shower helps. It's easy to hold and not that chunky or heavy. It charges easily and lasts a long time, which is great.

Great little machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Braun Silk epil 5 is a compact epilator that comes with 4 accessories. I really like that you don't use the lead to use it as it allows you to be able to use it where you want. It is quick to charge too (about an hour) and you know it is fully charged when the light stops flashing. Compared to my previous epilator, I have found the silk epil 5 to be quite painless - of course you do feel a little tingling but I don't find it painful. It is also really handy to be able to use it wet or dry, and the shaver head cap is also very useful. I like to use this on more sensitive areas such as my underarms. It also comes with a little white bag so you can easily take it with you on your travels and keep all the bits together. Definitely a winner for me.

Painful but tolerable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The device comes with both shaver and epilator heads, though beginners should be warned that the ‘multi tweezer’ sensation can be quite painful until you are adjusted. I’ve seen reduction in regrowth in my armpit area. I do a session once a week. I highly recommend trimming longer hair first to make the process much more tolerable. The included brush is useful at keeping the device hygienic and hair-free after use.

Looks ok but doesn’t work as it say

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t very impressed with this product didn’t Leave my Legs smooth like it said not easy to use as hard to hold as vibration make loose grip so couldn’t take pic for review I will def not be telling anyone to get one of these, I didn’t Like the epilator head as this is uncomfortable to use hurts more than waxing and still Doesn’t leave smooth have to go over legs to many times So take forever so not a quick use

Not the best for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a big fan of although it lasts longer than shaving it takes a lot longer than shaving to do and make sure that all the hairs are gone. Good for top ups in between if missed a bit but won’t reach for this very often.

Couldn't of arrived at a better time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is perfect for me with some upcoming life changes I have. I don't have long before I give birth and with a growing belly I have struggled to keep on top of shaving my legs. This has been a god send, as it lasts for a while I can feel confident with my legs during appointments now. I don’t think it's 'hurts' that much either, I found it may sting a little to start off with but your skin becomes used to the 'pain' and you don't feel much after a while. I was worried it would hurt to do my thighs as the skin is more sensitive there but I was able to do them with no problems.

Lovely product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is easy to use. It has zero pain unlike waxing. The body is sturdy and nice. Battery back up is for 40 min, which is quite sufficient. Talking on growth, you have to shave every 10-15 days depending on your growth. I think it is value for money.

New to epilating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first time using an epilator and I used it on dry skin. Need to read instructions first and I found it straight forward. I stopped using retinal a week before so it didn’t hurt as much. It was slightly uncomfortable but manageable. I didn’t find it too noisy. Will need to use for longer to see if it’s worth it but so far so good

BRAUN Epilator Silk • epil 5 Wet & Dry - slow does

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the BRAUN Epilator Silk • epil 5 Wet & Dry to test, and I was looking forward to seeing if BRAUN did any upgrades as I already have the upper version of the epilator. This epilator comes with 3 attachments: massage roller cup for gentle epilation, skin contact cap for closer epilation, and the shaver & trimmer for sensitive areas. Also comes with a handy little brush and a charging plug for Europe. I used this a few times only on dry skin, and I can say it is very basic, 2 speeds, and I have to repeat the same movements a few times to make sure it will pull all missed hairs. It's very slow but works. However, I would not purchase this for myself.
