The Argos Home Avalon Single Metal Bed Frame gives you a practical sleeping space that works for guest bedrooms or teenagers' rooms. There's a sturdy metal frame with thick horizontal tubes that keeps everything stable and supportive through nightly use. The black painted finish blends with most bedding colours and bedroom styles, from traditional to industrial looks. It fits a standard single mattress, so there's no need for specialist bedding. Metal slats across the base support the mattress evenly and let air circulate underneath.

Strong and stable
I bought this item at the end of March 2026 which I found surprsingly strong and very stable. All items are packed in a single box and no item is missing The quality is quite reasonable comparing with similar products. The instructions are simple and straight forward but you do need an extra pair of hands during the assemby. The size is just right for our needs tugs away nicely along the wall.

Great bed for the price.
Bought this for our son to use before he moves into his new house. We wanted something cheap he could use for a few weeks. Purchased in the sale. Was pleasantly surprised at what a great quality bed it is. Easy to put together, took 2 of us less than an hour. The hardest part was pushing the base retaining clips into the holes. It's a nice sturdy bed. Would definitely recommend.

Don,t go with the recommended mattress as its too big
