Does the job
I bought this a few months ago and I have a single dog, this was bought to manage cleaning the house. Overall, it's OK, the pickup is good but the rollers in the base need a lot of cleaning for dog hair which is a little awkward to get to. The pull out section is nice and light which is great, but it's slightly faffy to connect it up. Clips for connectors are okay, but I'm not convinced on their longterm survivibility. Overall it seems a decent replacement for my dead shark but the change from hoover to carry could be easier and cleaning of the hair from the hoover section easier.

Great for the price!
The suction is very good for the great price. However the hose is small to move around and you have to carry the vacuum if you want to use it and it’s a bit of a pain due to the hose and I have been worrying due that the hose is bending and twisting. Could create a damage soon if you’re not very careful. The filter is good as you just open it and you can quickly drop straight in to the bin all the dirt. The noise is however so noisy but bearable. Very good for the price and easy to put anywhere.

Best hoover I have had
I had recently brought a cordless shark was it wasn’t great so looked for a new one and this Vax far surpassed the shark for suction and filtration. No real hair wrap issues either. Easy to manoeuvre around the house and up stairs

Light, manoeuvreable and good value
Bought to replace old Dyson Animal Pros: lightweight, steerable and good suction. Cons: tube isn’t long enough for doing high up. When you’re using tube, and try to move forwards the while thing falls over. Again and again. It’s actually really annoying. I’ve see. Others comment the same. Overall I am happy as I wanted a lightweight hoover on a budget. But I do thing the two things that let it down are weaknesses.

I regret purchasing this vacuum. It states that it is a pet vacuum but it won't pick up the smallest clump of hair, nor even a piece of down from my sofa cushion, without having to get the suction stick out, and setting that up itself is a palava. Maneuverability is poor, the product is heavy, there's no way my elderly nan would be able to use it. The hose is very short, it only just reaches the ceiling at a stretch to suck up any cobwebs. Overall, this is poor, a waste of money, and I regret it's purchase, I will be getting a different one as soon as possible.

It should be fairly easy to empty the Vax Air Lift Steerable Max Pet Corded Upright Vacuum Cleaner, you just need to do the following:
1. Press the dirt container release buttons located the side of the carry handle.
2. Pull and remove the dirt container off the vacuum cleaner.
3. Hold the dirt container over a bin, press the dirt release button to open and allow the dirt to fall out.
