Great cooling but many flaws
I have only had the unit for a day and the cooling performance is very good. I would give that part 5 stars. Even without a proper window kit, I have placed the hose out of a sash window and closed it as much as possible and it still cools well. It weighs 25kg so it is heavy to lift out of the box, but once it is in place the wheels make it easy enough to move. Make sure to pull open the front grills on the unit for maximum airflow as they do open by hand (you just pull them). The instruction manual is very poor. The unit does not come with any window or door slider kit to block the hot air. It only includes a wall vent adaptor which is only useful if you already have a hole in the wall. It is also very noisy. I have already had to drain the bottom tray and although it comes with a small hose to attach when you drain it, the drain plug is right at the bottom of the unit (there is another drain higher up but that's not full yet (should be easier to drain that part I think). The only practical way to drain the bottom tray it is to lift the unit onto something VERY sturdy so the water can flow out down the drain tube. This is not ideal for a machine that weighs 25kg. If you are buying a window or door slider kit, check the type of connector on the exhaust hose that you are buying. This model uses a clip on fitting rather than the screw type that most universal kits use. I made that mistake as the size was correct but the connector type was not so need to return it and look for the correct one. Even if the window slider kit is adjustable, you still need to check the minimum and maximum size. If the minimum size is too large you will have to cut the plastic, which most people will want to avoid. If the maximum size is too short then it will not fit the window at all.

Good enough but clearly the budget option
Average. Clearly a budget model and price reflects that. Don't expect amazing cooling power but it's enough to take the edge off. Instructions are quite unclear on the various modes etc. It's nice and compact and easy to move around the house or store.

Happy with purchase
After saying I will get an air conditioner each year I finally got one, only for the weather to turn cold, so I haven't had the chance to use it fully yet. Upon testing it out it works very well and I can't wait to feel cool at home during the hot weather. It might be a bit noisy at night but I'm yet to test it out.

AC unit
Bought this end of May 2026, Works well, very cool output, could do with a slower fan speed as it only has fast and medium which are both quite noisy. You will need to vent it externally and connect a pipe to drain the water from it.

Great features
Excellent purchase, cools the room properly, not too much noise, easy to install, price decent. Would definitely recommend

For its size and its price, this unit is excellent. We have three larger - and far more expensive- units around the property but, for smaller rooms, this is an excellent investment. Easy to move, no noisier than any affordable AC unit, it does the job. If I'd criticise any aspect, it would be that a longer hose would help but that's a minor point.

Hello, I can advise that the exhaust pipe will need to be vented to the outside either through a window or a vent hole in the wall. Thank you for using Bush Q & A.
I just bought it, it didnt come with a window kit, had to buy that separately from Amazon. Make sure to get the correct size attachment, comes with the window kit, otherwise it wont fit the hose.
No, has the hot air duct hose but no window kit.
