Weeds taking over your lawn? The Spear and Jackson Weed Puller is a manual garden tool that removes unwanted plants at the root. It's got deep-reaching stainless steel claws that grip weeds firmly without chemicals. The long handle is made from nylon and fibreglass for lightweight strength. You'll operate it standing up so there's no bending or kneeling required. A hand-operated sliding mechanism ejects pulled weeds quickly. The step plate gives you extra force when pushing claws into firm ground.

Spear & Jackson Weed Puller
I purchased this weeder a couple of weeks ago and it has proven to be very effective at easily removing most large, tough weeds, without having to get down on my hands & knees. It seems quite robust & well made, so I hope it lasts a few years. I have deducted a star however, as the plugs of soil attached to the roots often clog up the 'ejector' and have to be removed by hand. On the whole, though, I would recommend this product.

Strong and sturdy weed puller
I had a cheaper version of a weed puller but it couldn't handle tough weed roots. This weed puller is great. Strong and sturdy, it's managed most of our weeds, and not having to bend to pick up the weeds is a bonus.

Good weed puller
Good weed puller, easy to get in ground & pull out larger weeds (not med/small size) only downside, if soil too damp, it’s difficult to push down the handle to expel the weed off the end, but fine is soil not too wet.

Upright weed remover easy to use.
Just recently purchased the spear & jackson upright weed remover. For me easy to use and does a good job, I make sure the metal grabber is kept ckean after use.

Efficient and easy to use
I bought this last month and I can honestly say I became slightly addicted to using it due to the ease of removing weeds and how quickly you can remove them. It grips the weeds very well and leavers them out nicely. Sometimes the handle used to release the weeds were difficult to push down but it could have been because our garden soil is clay like. I am very glad I purchased this.

No more getting up and down when weeding
Very happy with this item. It is sturdy and works well. Place it over the weed and follow the instructions. Up pops the weed in the grabber and then drop it the bin. No more getting up and down. Ideal for an OAP like me. 😀

The supplier has advised the following for the Spear & Jackson Weed Puller - Red:
"You need to put your foot on the footplate to insert the prongs into the ground. How much effort this requires will be dependent on the nature of the ground.
Once inserted into the ground you need to pull back on the handle to close the prongs around the weed. The weed can then be lifted out of the ground."
