Finding someone reliable to repair your item, or buying a new one, is an unexpected expense and could be a major hassle. But with protection from Argos Electrical Product Care, provided by the UK's leading specialist warranty provider, Domestic & General, you won't have to worry.
What's covered:
- Accidental damage protection - starting from the moment you get your product.
- Unlimited repairs or a replacement - if your product cannot be fixed.
- Breakdown cover - after the manufacturer's guarantee ends (provided the policy remains in force).
- Worldwide cover - your products are covered wherever you are. (claims will be settled in the UK).
- Replacement or vouchers - if we can't repair your product, you'll get a replacement (with same or similar features) or Argos vouchers (an excess may apply).
What's not covered:
Loss, theft, installation costs and cosmetic damage. For selected items over £149.99 (and mobile phones over £100) an excess will apply when making a claim (excesses range from £10 to £100).

After checking with the relevant team, they have advised for the 3yrs Breakdown Care with Accidental Damage - Gaming Systems 808/3847: This depends on the PS5 you bought.
PS5 Disc Edition @ £479.99 need to order 3year BDC priced at £59.99
PS5 Digital Edition @ £389.99 need to order 3year BDC priced at £59.99
The Breakdown Care is the one on the product page for the Playstation console.
You would need to consult the terms and conditions in your paperwork.

Taking a look at the terms and conditions on the product cover, it says :
" Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to be eligible. Your product must be
in good working order when this plan starts. Your product must have been bought from Argos. "

Hi,
Once an order has been placed online, you will no longer be able to purchase cover by the same method. However, if you call into your nearest Argos Store within 45 days from date of receiving the goods they will be able to provide you with the most appropriate cover.
