Cheap and cheerful!
Bought this summerhouse with shed 3 months ago, lead time was 8-10 weeks. One of the summerhouse panels was damaged on delivery, driver informed and photos taken. Contacted customer services at Mercia (who supplied the product on behalf of Argos) who never responded, so repaired the panel myself. The instructions are not very good, the YouTube video (search Mercia Summerhouse/shed) gives some clues, but it’s not an easy build. Finished summerhouse and shed looks good for what we paid for it. We intend to paint our cream inside and outside to protect it which I think it will need.

Finishes my garden off nicely
I'm very pleased with the summerhouse with Side storage, I would have liked a stronger floor but other than that I can't fault it, it was easy to assemble with good clear instructions.

Dont bother
After ordering this summerhouse i had to wait a month for delivery. It arrived,there where nails poking out,nails not nailed in,wood treatment missing on areas,cracks/ splits in the wood,NOT worth the money in my opinion,after sending Argos just some of the photos of the terrible quality i had some of my money refunded the only reason i kept it. The instructions are useless too,spend the money elsewhere and get a decent one this was literally thrown together no care taken.

To calculate the size of base required for the particular building you wish to build, add 4 inches/10cm to the overall base dimensions to ensure an adequate base size for your shed.

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows for the Mercia Corner Summerhouse with Shed:
"The 7 x 7 has a square footage of 35.19 squared ft and the 11 x 7 has a square footage of 57.68 squared ft."

Yes, you can assemble this Mercia Corner Summerhouse with Shed - 7 x 7ft the opposite way round, so the shed is on the left instead of the right.

Having checked, the dividing wall between the sections is integral to the structure and it wouldn't be possible to remove it to open the space out.

You can build a summer house on your property without planning permission as long as it's of a reasonable size – no higher than 4 metres.
We don't recommend placing a summer house on grass. The best foundations are concrete, paving slabs or timber decking.
