The Salisbury 1000 Pocket Memory mattress benefits from individual pocket springs, which are enhanced with a 20mm layer of body conforming Memory Foam. The soft cushioning provides consistent, responsive comfort and support for the whole body. The sleeping surface is a luxury soft Belgian knit. The mattress is finished with handles and vents.

This is such a comfy mattress. It is medium hard and doesn’t sag. There is no roll on it. Great nights sleep. Glad I bought it and for such a reasonable price.

Poor construction
We read the reviews and purchased on their recommendations. The mattress had little support, the springs parted so you sunk down, the side of the mattress bulged and stayed like that after sleeping, the buttons securing clip could be felt through our mattress topper and sheet. We went back to our original mattress We have requested a refund.

I looked at a few mattresses and decided on this one, with the 1000 spring coils and good depth. The air vents in the side are great allowing to wick away the heat and aids for a more comprehensive sleep,It fits the base perfectly with strong stitching and a good amount of padding.

Nice cool mattress
Took a while to get used to it and it had a strange smell which took a couple of weeks to go completely but once was used to it this is a great mattress with no memory foam so helps to keep you cooler at night. I definitely recommend it but you have to persevere past the first two weeks.

The full list of materials are below:
1) Ticking fabric on the sleeping surface and borders is 53% Polyester/47% Polypropylene.
2) The underside is covered with a material which is 100% Polyester.
3) Filling 1 is a combination of Polyester and Cotton.
4) Filling 2 contains Polyester, Wool and Silk and Polypropylene.
5) Filling 4 and the spring insulator are both Polyester.
6) None of the components or materials in the mattress contain Polyurethane.
7) Neither the filling materials or any of the covering fabrics have any chemical flame retardants or other treatments applied.

The supplier has advised the following for the Salisbury 1000 Pocket Memory Mattress - Single:
"Our mattresses are all tested to weights of up to 16 stone, which is industry standard. However, since the Salisbury 1000 pocket mattress uses a firmer type of spring unit with a tufted finish we believe this would offer sufficient support for the weight your customer has stated. Please be aware that rotating the mattress head to toe would need to be done on a more frequent basis and that the fillings may settle more quickly."

The supplier has advised the following for the Salisbury 1000 Pocket Memory Mattress - Double:
The customer can use an electric blanket, it is safe to do so, however, because it is a memory foam mattress it may make the mattress very warm and soft becoming uncomfortable as a result. Because of this we would advise against using an electric blanket. (Also, we'd need to know more on the type and brand of electric blanket to be able to confirm if it is compatible).
