Good tub - not so good instructions
It went together pretty easily, though the last of the insulated panels was really hard work to jam in, especially on a hot day. Connecting up was simple as I already had all it needed ready. Just a hose and outside mains socket. Its been very good to use. It maintains temperature and the filter works fine. The big let-down though was the almost complete lack of instructions - both for assembly and for ongoing care, such as the use of chemicals. There was a link provided to a couple of hard to see videos that only covered some of the assembly. There was almost no printed assembly instructions. The after-assembly-care info was even worse. There was near-zero explanation of how to care for the tub and it's water, apart from some sparce information printed on the starter kit products. I've had to watch You-Tube vids to learn things that should have been explained in the supplied info.

Excellent and sturdy. Easy to put up
I bought this 2 weeks ago and its all up and running. Very easy to put up. Im a single female and managed it on my own. The jets are really powerful. The App is brilliant! Connected to my Internet in less than 2 minutes. The foam sides are very sturdy. I bought the thermal cover which is holding the heat in massively well.

Don’t hesitate, just buy it!
The Argos price was the best we could find. Delivery was very well communicated and two men delivered the hot tub walking it around the back of our house without me even having to ask. They were extremely polite and helpful. The instructions to assemble the hot tub are not very clear because they are just diagrams without any words. Having said that, it is very straightforward to put together and there are lots of videos online of people showing how they do this. The hot tub itself is really wonderful. It looks great feels like quality product is very quiet when it runs and even seems pretty energy efficient given what it’s doing. We assembled it on day one filled it on day two and our eight-year-old is using it as a splash pool in the hot weather on day three. We are yet to become fully up to speed with all of the daily and weekly maintenance required, but we are pretty confident we can get there with all the online support. The app for this hot tub is also pretty slick and apart from a bit of glitching hear and there, it is a great feature. We had tried to order a hot tub directly from the manufacturer. And that didn’t go well! I would recommend this product and I would recommend buying from Argos. It is a more expensive option than the inflatable models but I do believe it’s worth the money and I am usually pretty thrifty when it comes to buying things! We also tried buying secondhand but these things seem to sell so quickly. We were never lucky and therefore feel pretty confident we can sell it on and get at least half our money back if in the end we decide we no longer want it or perhaps want to upgrade to something more permanent.

Get a Toronto pronto.
After a recent heart attack. Decided to purchase something to help me relax. After previously owning what can only be described as a not so Clever Spa, which worryingly burst into flames, I thought let’s go for something much better. I purchased the Lay Z Spa Toronto, and thank god I did, it’s simply awesome: well built and extremely easy to put together even with a dodgy heart. We have spent quite a few sessions so far with no issue whatsoever and unlike the Clever Spa junk previously, this one actually works fully with the WiFi. So, an extremely happy and chilled customer and I would wholeheartedly recommend the Toronto to anyone considering a new Spa.

Hi Dawn,
Thank you for your Query regarding the item Lay-Z-Spa Toronto Therma core AirJet Spa.
The Lay-Z-Spa Toronto ThermaCore AirJet Spa is said to work up to 60% more efficiently than standard inflatable walls, and it has an insulating lid and thermal top cover to help retain heat.
What I don't have is a specific cost per day figure, so I can't give an exact running cost.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes you can use any 13Amp mains socket but not with an extension lead or multi-plug adapter. In the manual it does have a warning saying it should not be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off or an external timer as it can reset the thermal cut-out. Not sure if that matters in practice. Ive also seen videos showing how to reset the thermal cutout.

Actually you can extend the warranty just by registering the product. There is a piece of paper in the box explaining how. Heater pump goes from 1 to 2 year warranty and covers, liner and lid from 6 to 12 months.

Hello Joey,
The supplier has advised the following for the Lay-Z-Spa Toronto Thermacore AirJet Spa:
The retail box the item is delivered in measures: 109cm x 77cm x 77cm.
So this is how small the item can pack down to. The item is constructed of multiple foam wall panels. The spa is very easy to pack down after use. To pack down the spa, the customer would just need to unzip the liner and remove the foam panel pieces. The liner can then be folded and the foam panels can be stacked together when not in use.
Thank you for using Q&A.
