Worst baby monitor ever.
Worst baby monitor I’ve ever owned. The sleep function still plays the sound - so I can hear the plinky baby music ALL the time. It shows pictures upon waking - totally useless. Plus the camera doesn’t zoom out enough for me to see much of the cot - even tho I’ve built a tower of boxes for it to sit on, the cable isn’t long enough to put it any higher. I wish I’d never bought it.

Very easy to use and just works!
Bought this on offer and so glad we did as it works brilliantly. So easy to set up and use. The camera can be bend into different positions for a good view of the baby. Sound quality and microphone were good. Camera quality is ok, not HD but perfectly fine and the infrared night vision was great. Cannot fault it.

"For security purposes, you cannot add an additional full baby monitor set or separate camera.
However; there are two options to resolve your situation; either purchase a separate VTech baby monitor and run independently or purchase the VTech RM9761 smart cam (Argos code 829/7468), where within the VTech app, you can monitor your baby or child.
With any of our current full smart baby monitor sets, the VTech RM9761 smart cam the additional camera’s can be added to the account, but only viewable via your registered mobile device, not via a separate VTech smart monitor viewing screen."

The mains charger cable for the VTech VM4254 camera unit measures approximately 2m in length.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for VTech VM4254 3.5 Inch Video Baby Monitor.
The VM4254 wall mount requires 2 x No 6 sized screws to be inserted into a wall leaving the screw head protruding.
The VM4254 camera is then placed over the screws and moved so that the screw head is clamped under the slot in the camera - the Quick Start Guide (QSG) describes this simple procedure.
For reference, the camera base has a “keyhole” type slot where the diameter is 8mm and the slot width 4mm, therefore a No 6 screw is ideal.
