About this product
The Pepper desk gives you a dedicated spot to work from home with everything within reach. The 120 by 60 centimetre worktop provides room for a laptop, monitor and everyday essentials. A built-in pedestal keeps stationery, files and work tools organised, with a cupboard and two slide-out drawers that run on metal runners for smooth access. A cable socket at the back routes wires neatly and reduces desk clutter. The clean white finish fits into spare rooms, alcoves or open-plan spaces without fuss.
The fixed shelf inside the cupboard divides storage vertically, so you can separate supplies or keep smaller items contained. Drawers glide out smoothly and stay aligned through daily use. The worktop supports up to 30 kilogrammes, enough for typical home office setups. Space underneath accommodates a standard office chair to tuck in comfortably. Supplied flat-packed with a wall-fixing kit and clear instructions. Two people recommended for assembly.

Damaged ! Got it out the box and it’s damaged on the edges, turns out this is at the front of the desk as well. My son was desperate as it was a birthday gift as part of decorating his new room. Really disappointed and difficult to find how to contact customer services to resolve. Nice big desk otherwise and perfect for him

Lovely desk, tough build, drawer runners awful.
A really nice looking piece of furniture, if a little difficult to assemble. After spending a few hours building the desk, and getting to the final stage, one of the drawer runners completely collapsed and shed barings all over the floor. Now the fun began. I contacted Argos customer care, to ask for replacement runners, even offered photos of the issue, only to be told had to dismantle the full unit, carry it all back downstairs, back into the car, and return the full item. All this over a set of runners which are £10 from amazon, which I bought and solved the issue. It’s a nice looking, sturdy piece of furniture, at a reasonable price, but cost is obviously saved on the accessories, and I think it’s a shame.

No, the bottom drawer on the Argos Home Pepper Large Office Desk is not designed for hanging files and also there is no hanging bar or metal rail inside the drawers.
