My cleaner recommended this model, she did not rate my cordless cleaner and knew other customers Sharks. Rather than lose her I got one and test drove it before she came……the difference……the suction was amazing and I worrried that the carpet might not survive…… but no problem. The next day she used it and when I went upstairs to see, I thought I had new carpets, it was visibly cleaner…. she had to empty the Shark twice after 3 bedrooms, mainly 5 years of fluff and dust. She’s a great cleaner, but If I’d known about the Shark before, I wouldn’t need a cleaner…..only joking ….

Very powerful and easy to manoeuvre.
We needed a basic, powerful vacuum cleaner and this fitted the bill. It's quite light and makes it very easy to negotiate tight spaces. It is one of the most powerful and effective cleaners we have used. It's easy to empty and has a good capacity. The only minor issues involve the mechanics of it. It's quite difficult to pull the handle down when starting. There's a great tendency for the head to just pivot back with it, instead of separating. The other issue is that, when lifting the whole machine up, it's very easy to end up with just the lift-away section in your hand! Apart from those, it's close to perfect.

Purchased this a couple of weeks ago for my daughter moving to her new house. I am a Shark/Ninja fan and have several products which I love. Looked like the same model I purchased around 7 or 8 years ago but how wrong could I be. This is ok for the price paid as it was on offer. At full price there’s no way it’s worth it and to be honest I was tempted to return it but after using I doubt Argos would have accepted a return. It is in no way anything like the original model not even near. Feels cheap and plastic and not solid at all, I’ll be surprised if it last a few months. The power is average and the suction adjuster is not great. It doesn’t come with a foot attachment which is great for cleaning the stairs, keeping in mind this is a lift away vacuum which is meant to be easy to clean stair carpets. Would I buy again? Most definitely not!

Bought this hoover as it was same as our last one, with 3 dogs that shed hair this is perfect for the job, we kept parts of the old hoover so we could interchange filters when cleaning them also more attachments, overall very satisfied with hoover.
