Halfway through trimming the hedge or drilling through timber, your battery dies. This McGregor 18V battery charger keeps your tools running. It works with all McGregor-branded garden and DIY power tools, has a charging indicator light to show progress, and charges your battery in an hour.
Fast charging gets your battery ready in up to 1 hour. The 1.8m battery terminal lead gives you reach to the nearest socket. It's got reverse polarity protection, short circuit protection, and overload protection built in. Works with all McGregor 18V garden power products and DIY power tools.

From July 16th, if you want us to collect an unwanted small item after delivery, it costs £3.95 or you can return it to any store for free. You won’t be charged if the item is faulty, or if it was delivered by a supplier.

Bought this to charge a battery for a strimmer bought from Argos but the McGregor brand, unfortunately the charger is no good for that battery.

Waste of time and money
Bought McGregor garden items from Argos over the years so was annoyed that this isn’t compatible with them despite it being an 18V charger. Wasted delivery money as all the Argos stores closed near us so have to find the time to do a 10 mile round trip to return it.

Bought for my hedge trimmer which has a battery and charger . New battery not compatible with the original charger but works fine with the unit . A battery gives approximately 30 cutting time so I got a new one for bigger jobs to do in one go . Reasonably cheap but annoyed original charger not compatible with new battery .

No, this is not compatible with a McGregor 21.6V battery. You must use a dedicated 21.6V charger designed for McGregor MCR2132/MCR2134A lawnmower models to ensure safety and prevent damage to the battery pack.
