The Hotpoint HDG6GDCW Gas Cooker makes family meals and weekend cooking simple with its double oven setup and 4-burner gas hob. Fitting neatly into standard kitchen spaces, it gives you plenty of cooking room - the main oven is spacious with Catalytic Liners that catch grease and burn it off as you cook, so cleaning is just a quick wipe. The top oven adds multifunction space with a gas grill, perfect for smaller batches or when you're juggling several things at once.
You've got 4 gas burners with durable matte enamel pan supports that keep everything stable, plus push button ignition for quick lighting. The glass lid protects your cooker when not in use and folds down to create extra workspace aligned with your counter. Front-mounted controls and a programmable digital timer keep everything accessible, while double-glazed oven doors retain heat. Flame failure devices on the hob and grill cut gas supply if flames go out, adding reassurance in busy kitchens. It's LPG convertible, comes in white, and includes a 10-year parts and 1-year labour guarantee.

Stable cooker with feat full glass lid for safety
Only had my new cooker for 2wks but find it really easy to use. Ignition is not a problem as a few reviews have said. You turn and press the relevant burner knob, press the ignition button and just hold the burner knob for a few seconds and it’s lit. Useful timer and easy to set with alarm when complete. Easy to clean.

I always had gas but for some reason I changed to Electric. Now 15 mths later I'm back with gas. So pleased with the cooker it looks good and cooks brilliantly.

Glass top closes the gas supply to the hob
I bought this about a month ago as the cooker we had needed replacing,after looking elsewhere we decided to come to argos and buy the very one we looked at so far working faultless easy to use and clean i would definitely recommend this cooker.

DISAPPOINTING HOTPOINT COOKER -
Have owned 3 Cannon cookers in last 25 years and this purchase is the least satisfactory. Lid doesnt close properly, the rubbers on the bottom oven door fell off on Day 1, the timer alarm is too quiet, and overall it just looks crudeky built. Disappointing buy.

Hotpoint cooker

It looks smart in the kitchen and doesn't take much effort to keep it looking clean. Having two ovens makes cooking meals much more convenient, especially when l've got a few dishes on the go. It cooks food evenly and seems very reliable so far. It is very good, no-fuss cooker that works well and makes everyday cooking a lot easier. Love cooking with it so much! It is perfect size, installed very quickly. Definitely worth to consider having it in the kitchen.

Self cleaning ovens are always a bonus
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks amazing I would never be able to afford such a lovely looking cooker It has 2 ovens so good for a big family I have only tested it once cooking a meal and heats up quickly It is very sturdy I look forward to cooking on this it has self cleaning ovens which are fantastic as I have cleaning ovens It fits in beautifully in my kitchen my pans go well with it Easy to wipe top of oven ,I purchased insurance to cover for anything that could go wrong ,the settings are easy to set up and the clock looks stylish also a light for the main oven is handy It is quite expensive but it looks and feels very well built in a stainless steel finish

Great oven
Bought this recently and very happy with it the oven is really good just had a slight problem with the small gas burner as it lit but wouldn't stay lit , a quick fix by a engineer and problem sorted.maybe the ignition button would have been better on the left hand side as I turn on the dials with my right hand
