Unbelievably the best!

What an amazng speaker, loud enough for room full of 60 girls singing along at home but we also took it into the garden and the sound was the best we have heard no fuzzing clear and loud, most definately contributed to an amazing party, the music and sound is very important to create a great atmostphere this did not let us down, dont wonder ... do it!

What an amazing speak with amazing sound quality

I received this speaker in exchange for my honest review and it’s absolutely amazing. The sound quality is fantastic and so clear . I must add it’s bigger than you actually think and quite heavy to but don’t let that put you off how good it actually sounds. The light show is a nice added extra which can be switched off if you require and the app you can download with the speaker is so easy to use and offers a load more options for the speaker

I have many JBL products and The JBL partybox 520 is new addition to my collection. It's a fantastic product if you love outdoor parties and like quality sound. The JBL PartyBox 520 is also perfect for use at home, delivering an extraordinary musical experience for everyday use. There are so many choices of light patterns and if you are having a night party it just look super cool. It’s easy to connect to Bluetooth. Over all i would give this 10/10. JBL has never disappointed with their product.

If I had to sum up: the JBL PartyBox 520 is a beast of a party speaker. It manages to deliver enough power to impress and enough clarity to satisfy when you're not just blasting it. It’s not perfect, especially if you expect perfection at every level, but it does most things very well. For me, the joy came from cranking it up with friends outside, watching how it reshapes a space with sound and light. It’s not subtle — it’s meant to be felt. If you value atmosphere, want something tough and loud and don’t mind paying for it, it’s hard to beat. If instead you need something more subtle, lighter, or cheaper, there are trade‑offs that might make a smaller model more practical. You’ll love it if: You throw parties often, indoors or out, and want something that feels like a centrepiece. You care about atmosphere: lights, rugged design, and the “wow” factor really matter. You want a speaker that’s flexible: mic/guitar inputs, replaceable battery, heavy duty enough for regular use. You don’t mind sacrificing some portability for power. If moving 25‑30kg is doable for you (or you mostly roll it around), the tradeoff is worth it. The lighting effects are a lot of fun. At night, they turn the speaker into an event by themselves. The front bars, strobes, the ambient LEDs – they add atmosphere. Not perfect for every scenario (won’t help your neighbours’s sleep), but when you want a party vibe, they deliver. he connectivity is solid. I liked having dual XLR/¼‑inch mic/guitar combo inputs – if you want to sing, plug in a mic, or throw in a guitar, or even use a mixer, it’s ready.

Amazing Speaker

This JBL party box is simply amazing. It’s super loud and the bass is great for a party! There is an extra hidden compartment to attach to mics and decks for really added impact. Perfect for any party or event. Would highly recommend! Only downside is it’s a little heavy.

Good speaker, a touch loud

This product is a great speaker if you want to rave and party! We have a warehouse so in there it works fantastic with the bass features and volume levels. The coloured lights are super fun and match the party vibe immensely. This product is super heavy but does have built in wheels and a handle. If you want to use this speaker at home the absolute most you'd be able to put it up to is 15% volume or it's simply too loud. Overall a great speaker and if you have the space definitely get it, but in a standard house it's not the best idea if you want to not anger your neighbours 😂

This thing brings the party

I’ve owned a few portable speakers over the years, but the JBL PartyBox 520 is on a completely different level. I bought it for an end-of-summer barbecue and it ended up stealing the show. Right out of the box, it looks bold and built to party—sturdy, flashy, and surprisingly easy to move around thanks to the wheels and telescopic handle. Yeah, it’s not small (and definitely not light), but it’s designed more like portable pro audio gear than a toss-in-your-backpack speaker. As for sound, all I can say is WOW. This thing is loud—like, “you can hear it down the street” loud. But it’s not just volume—the sound is full, clean, and deep. The bass hits hard without getting muddy, and the clarity stays intact all the way up the volume scale. Vocals are sharp, instruments are well separated, and nothing gets lost in the mix. The lightshow is a whole vibe on its own. It syncs with the music, and the patterns make the whole experience feel more dynamic and fun. It’s the kind of thing that gets people dancing, even if they weren’t planning to. Battery life was more than enough—I got about 8 hours at mid-high volume with the lights on. Plus, the fact that the battery is removable and replaceable is a huge bonus if you're planning longer events or outdoor sessions. Also, major props to JBL for including pro-level inputs. I connected a mic for some impromptu karaoke, and it handled it like a champ—no setup headaches, just plug in and go.

Incredible sound quality, brilliant bass!

First impressions of the JBL Partybox 520 is that it makes a statement the moment I saw it – it’s big, solid, and built to last. Yes, it’s on the heavier side, but that weight reflects its impressive build quality. Thankfully, the sturdy wheels and convenient retractable handle made moving it around surprisingly easy. The audio is nothing short of incredible, with powerful sound and adjustable bass options to suit any mood which you can also adjust the sound settings from an app on your mobile phone allowing you to control features such as the light control and effects lab on the front of the speaker and the inbuilt DJ announcements, Equaliser and microphone effects. Connectivity is seamless with both Bluetooth and wireless capabilities, and the dynamic light show adds a real party atmosphere. As a bonus, it has an input on the rear to connect a guitar.

This thing is insane 😆 ...amazing

This speaker is insane 🤯🤯 I own a different selection of JBL products and have really enjoyed the all so naturally the party box 520 had to be added 😆 If you like to party do a bit of karaoke or just love your music then this thing is definitely one to consider ... First of all the sound quality is unbelievable I was literally scared of turning this thing up to max volume incase it blew my windows out ..the sound is crisp and the bass is impressive..we had this out on the garden with a few friends and the sound even outside was pumping at half volume I think you put this in a field and you'd hear it from the other side 😆...once the light faded that's when the light display comes in and it looks really cool ...we then passed the mic around for a bit and had a sing along everyone was really impressed...overall I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves music and is looking for a speaker to entertain it won't disappoint
