The HP DeskJet 2910 is designed for families needing a simple, reliable printer for everyday documents, schoolwork and photos. It offers printing, scanning and copying in one compact machine that connects to all devices via dual-band Wi-Fi, which automatically reconnects so you don't struggle with setup. It prints at 7.5ppm black and 5.5ppm colour, with a 60-sheet paper tray suited for home use. Setup is straightforward using the HP Smart app, and you can print from smartphones, tablets, PCs or Macs via wireless or Apple AirPrint.
Manual duplex printing reduces paper consumption for double-sided documents and delivers crisp text and vibrant colour photos with up to 1200dpi black and 4800dpi colour resolution. It uses 2 ink cartridges, with HP 308 recommended, and the flatbed scanner handles copying or scanning with decent optical resolution. Great when working.
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, as a replacement. A few connection problems, which were solved with support from HP app. HP have a few problems particularly, with ink replacement. They want you to subscribe to instant ink. Which for the amount of printing I do per month isn't worth it for me. Also should you not be able to get hp ink cartridges, and use a compatible cartridges, hp chip will blimp as not recognised. This can cause all sorts of problems including wi-fi connection failure.

Its been horrendous it has taken a long while to connect cant get it to print anything as it just save things to PDF. and it also is bringing my old deleted printer info and i cant get rid of it

Easy setup and very practical
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found it really easy to set up using just my phone and the HP app, which guided me through everything, even installing the cartridges. Printing was quick and the quality looked very good from the first few documents I tried. I also really like having the built-in scanner, especially as my previous HP printer didn’t have one. It scans and processes things quickly, and I don’t find the printer particularly noisy during use. It’s a medium size, which works well for my space, and overall it feels very practical for everyday home use. For the price, I think it offers really good value for an easy to use printer with both printing and scanning functions.
