The AEG TR848A4B2 is an 8kg heat pump tumble dryer that dries cottons, synthetics, wool, silk and outdoor garments. AbsoluteCare technology uses precise drum movements and controlled temperatures to protect fragile fabrics, preventing wool shrinkage and silk distortion. It offers 12 programmes, including Cotton, Delicates, Woollens and a Hygiene cycle above 60C that removes 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. With an A energy rating and 155kWh annual consumption, it operates at 63dB. MixDry lets you dry synthetic and cotton items together for even results every time.
PreciseDry optimises drying time while SensiDry ensures clothes are fully dry at low temperatures, saving energy. Bought this Tumble Dryer from AEG directly and everything went as to plan, communications, delivery and removal of my old Dryer. The new Dryer looks good and works a dream it easy to understand and dries everything very well in-fact it does what it says on the box.

A Which Best and Eco Buy for good reason!
I almost stumped up extra for the 9kg version and I am very glad that I didn't. This dryer has exceeded all my expectations. The dryer is excellent wuality, feels sturdy, door is solid but easy to open and opens very wide allowing you to get inside easily to remove clothes. It is spacious, dries clothes quickly, leaves barely any creases, is very economic to run and the light inside the drum is far more handy than I ever realised it would be! Our dryer is currently in the garage but will be moved in to a utility room soon where I plan on draining the condenser directly in to the washing machine drain. I ordered a drain hose from Amazon because I read the FAQs stated that you would need to buy one separately, however a drain hose was in fact supplied in the drum so I will be returning the one I purchased from Amazon. I feel this could be made clearer but otherwise I am nothing short of delighted and would highly recommend!
