The 6L capacity is ideal for batch-cooking stews, soups and hearty dinners for the whole family. It has two pressure settings (8lb and 12lb) for control over cooking speed, and heat-resistant handles let you move it safely from hob to worktop. Safety features include a mechanical lock that stops the lid opening under pressure and a directional indicator that releases steam safely away from you.
It works on any hob you've got, whether that's electric, gas, ceramic, halogen, induction or solid hotplates. The pot is dishwasher safe for quick cleanup, and it comes with a steamer basket and trivet to protect your worktop. There's a manufacturer's lifetime guarantee included too.

I’ve never been able to get it to work effectively. I’ve had a number of Prestige pressure cookers but this one just doesn’t seem to create a pressured seal for cooking.

Great pressure cooker - just gone from agas to induction. I have always used Prestige pressure cookers - it is the best, quickest and healthiest way to cook. Safe and easy
I bought this to replace my old pressure cooker when I got an induction hob. The whole thing is much easier and safer to use than the old one which had weights to control pressure. Still cooks food in next to know time.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago to cook legumes and meat in shorter time and so far great job. It takes about 15 minutes to cook chana Dahl and beans stay intact yet nice and soft. I am glad I went for 6lt option as needed when batch cooking.
